When i get stuff from the chilled section, I always reach to the middle and take the item from there. NEVER from the front cos its more likely that its just been dumped there after 5 hours sitting on the side when someone went to the til then decided they didnt want it.Also, why are shops trying not to give back change/ gift vouchers when you use them? For example I have a 10 quid M&S voucher and the total sum of my purchase is 9 quid, why do the retail assistants try to deny me my pound? Surely thats stealing. Someone explain this for me please.

I check the dates, then what the meat is lookin like.Never liked gift cards/vouchers/etc why would someone give you money only to demand you use it at one shop or on one type of item, hate how I always get book/waterstones/hmv vouchers for chrismas from certain relatives, when I'd much more appreciate a £10 note that doesn't expire.

Nice one, well done.Brukfoot, I know what you mean about gettin vouchers as gifts...unless I really want somethin from that particular shop its kinda pointless. I just have loads of retail vouchers cos they hand them out at work all the time, and seein as its "recession" time, they may as well be put to use
