The opinions of somalians is born from the 90's.During the early 1990's there was a big influx of Somali's into London due to a civil war in their own country. Compared to other road yutes at the time, Somalian teenagers were a little more lawless and violent. You would have a black british yute arranging a scuff after school with 1 somalian, and the somalian would come to the school gates with 50 other somalians holding machetes and chewing khat.To be honest I think black british yutes were a little envious of the man-power that somalians had. It was easy to hate them because they spoke another language and alot of them (back in the 90's) had discoloured teeth. People almost treated (and feared) them like a pack of wolfs.The whole "trust" thing comes from language. In group situations, black british yutes felt uncomfortable around somali's due to them speaking their language to one another. Nuff man got robbed by somali's and because they spoke their language just before doing it, the whole "snake" thing came about (if that makes sense)It's mainly in London where somali's are hated. When I've been to other parts of the UK somali's act and are treated like any other black-british person. Somalians are now integrated into society, but the common stereotypes will still remain for the next decade or so.
