SOL CAMPBELL has called for clubs to have points deducted if their fans sing abusive chants.The Portsmouth defender, 34, has been the target of abuse from Tottenham fans, who he angered by joining bitter rivals Arsenal.And now he believes it is time the authorities take control of the situation.Ex-England star Campbell said: "I think that they are going to have to do more."My situation is a small part. But also, you have the racial abuse in the rest of Europe."The only way you can stop it from happening is by taking points from clubs. Then it would definitely stop."If it's just way over the top and you start taking points, you can lose the championship or you can be going down."That's the only way you can stop fans' abuse on that type of level."There is all sorts up and down the league."There is always someone saying something or part of the crowd saying something to certain players."But there is a level and once that level is crossed, I think people have to step in and sort it out."Football seems to think it can keep on going without getting checked."In most other sports on this level, it doesn't happen."You're not going to get that in tennis, rugby, cricket or athletics."It's just not accepted."

LOL @ mentioning the other sports, like Jeffrey and Howard are gonna be shouting abuse at the rugby match.Football fans have and will always sing abusive songs, whether it be about the opposition's manager, fans, players etc, it's in the make up of the working class football supporter.

He's not Rosa Parks.He's not on a bus.He happens to be a black male who plays football, whos feelings and pride have been severely dented over the years due to constent homophobic chants at his expense, which happens in football, ask Jenas, Le Saux and Ashley Cole.Deal with it. He doesnt get it all.He really is a total moron.... it's not the colour of your skin it's the colour of your morals.
