It makes me think I have been unfairly judging a lot of guys at gym.  There's me thinking they didn't train legs but it could be that the genetics are fucking them up.

 

I'm praying desperately to get them Russian calves.

Don't really enjoy gym anymore.  Much prefer going to primrose hill exercise park and banging out calisthenics.  Workout is far shorter but get the same muscle soreness in half the time I spend in the gym on the same muscle groups.  Bit annoyed I paid for the whole year in advance even though it wasn't that expensive. Will just go gym as and when I feel to.

Don't really enjoy gym anymore. Much prefer going to primrose hill exercise park and banging out calisthenics. Workout is far shorter but get the same muscle soreness in half the time I spend in the gym on the same muscle groups. Bit annoyed I paid for the whole year in advance even though it wasn't that expensive. Will just go gym as and when I feel to.

Whenever I get bored it's mainly due to the routines. Usually scan youtube for a couple hours and put a new workout together, but that's just me.

Delayed on-set muscle soreness has nothing to do with muscle growth. It might feel like the more sore you are; the more your muscle are going to grow but it's close to being completely irrelevant.

Injured my shoulder over a month ago playing football. Its been stopping me from doing alot of upper body work outs at the gym so ive been concentrating on my legs.

 

Starting to feel better again so hopefully i can jump back on the upper body....

 

Dread to think how much weight have dropped of my lifts....

 

I guess all the targets i set for the end of the year arent going to be met ¬_¬

Please don't tell me you're one of them guys that brag about just doing push ups and sit ups and home then when summer approaches you beg the next aesthetic gymrat / bodybuilder you see for some last minute advice before you go on holiday

Not even.

I was doing bodyweight exercises as part of my gym workout all the time but I was getting bored of gym and much preferred bodyweight exercises. Changed up my routine so gym is more enjoyable now.

Day 1: bench press, deadlift, leg raises

Day 2: squats, weighted pull ups, db shoulder press

Day 3: weighted dips, weighted chin ups, press ups

I'm trying to learn handstands so when I do I'll replace the shoulder press with the handstand push ups with a weight vest or something. Workout is shorter and more enjoyable now.

Been out the game for 2 weeks but can't wait to get back on, wanted t give my wrist a rest. Still kept my eating right so during my off training break so all good there. Finally got some food scales now aswell so that should hopefully hit my daily nutrients I need to reach my bulking goal.

 

Might have a look through youtube sunday night and put together a whole new training regime if I can be bothered.
