Queen Bee
^^ the beauty of a toastie is you can put anything in it that you would put in a sandwich, it just tastes nicer i usually do ham, cheese and lea n perrins or tuna and cheese or beans and bacon someone mentioned honey somewhere and i think i might need to try that with some chicken or ham sounds eaty

Escapist
the kind of thing you have every day for a month, then get sick of them, forget, remember a year later have them every day for a month, get sick of them, forget etc..... this cycle has happened to me on numerous occasions. i think the trick is to vary the sanwiches then u wont get sick of them lol

Guest WAVESURFER
Toastie in a George Foreman grill, how have I not thought of this before? Sandwich toaster blew up 2 years ago and hasn't been replaced. Had the grill about 4 years Before you put it on the grill, spread the TINIEST amount of butter onto the OUTSIDE of the bread (i.e. the surface of the bread that's gonna touch the grill) sh*t will come out golden brown, crisp and delicious. Believe me. (You may know this already, but I thought I'd say it anyway)

Guest WAVESURFER
Just had a tuna melt, inspired by this topic. The Foreman's out of service, so I used one of those toastie bags. A+
