Black people are idiots.
"Black people are like crabs in a bucket of crap. When one crab tries to get out the sh*t the others drag him straight back down. The main problem is they don't even know they're doing it."I was told this when I was young and naive; I never believed it then but as I'm getitng older it's becoming more apparent. Sad really.

In terms of the White Community, they are disowning "negative" attributes. Whereas within the black community, because of a general mis-use of the word or whatever, it appears as if it is people who have become successful that gets called a "bounty"...So when the white community do it it is more acceptable/looked over..Shrugs.I'm not even explaining it very well but, something along those lines.
Numero don't be intentionally ignorant. The connotations of "being a rudeboy" are not the same as "being a bounty".It is a black problem.
I notice you both of you picked up on the white but not the Asian so thats obviously true.Maybe its because I dont get this people calling someone a bounty because they are successful. Like I stated before, some successful people get called bounty because they are, not just because they are successful. For example, I've never heard anyone call Tim Campbell or Levi Roots bounty. They are two recently successful black people, one quite well-spoken, the other has a slight accent but speaks with a 'proper' tone. What if a white guy went to a black school so he was mainly influenced by black people it will obviously creep into his speech no? That doesnt mean when he goes home he doesnt do other stereotypical white things like down pints and what not (not gonna go into detail before someone finds something offensive). Notice I said "because he speaks slang". Another example then: I know working class white guys who hate middle class toffs and vice versa. Discount that theory.End of the day, my point is, the dude was making out like all other races embrace everyone for who they are as an individual, but he is wrong. Black people arent the only ones to judge and take a disliking to those who arent like them.
I know lots of white people that grew up in predominately black areas. All their friends are black and the way they talk you would think they were black as well.A lot of them are cool and that's it. They have mostly black friends and can kind of relate to your average black person a bit more. The problem is you get white people that intentionally go out of their way to be accepted by black people (probably like the bounties you are talking about). I used to know lots at my college, they would intentionally try to do things to try and gain approval from the black people in my college. The problem is when somebody says "he thinks he's black" the person in question usually has some negative traits about them. When a black person says "he is a bounty he is trying to be white" the person in question tends to actually have more positive qualities about themselves.

The imagery makes it so much more amazing. Who told you that? I want to shake their hand, provided it's not covered in sh*t and crabs.

so true. What always pisses me off is the black community's policy on 'snitching.' The criminals have fooled the rest of the community that if you 'snitch' on somebody, regardless of how serious the crime is, its a thing you should be ashamed of.

See here goes this guy again.Blud, dont you know bout 'grass'? White gangsters call them that and man will get headtopped for that. Snitchin is to do with honesty and loyalty to criminals. If you snitch you have broken that trust you once had.If you bang your girls friend, tell your boy and he tells your girl would you make the same mistake again? Would you accept it like "You know what mate, what I did was wrong. You did the right thing"?

Nothing to do with the point I was making, but you raise a good point. I know thats what Q, Angelo and Cipher were on about. He's saying no one else has hang ups on people acting like a different race, when they do. Forget comparing with white people anyway, their mind state is different (thats not to say they dont judge). Ethnic minority for ethnic minority, I dont know many black people to disown their kid for going out with a different race. Could happen but I definitely dont know it to be a problem like the Asians

Obv-ly banging a mates girl is different. that IS snitching. Using the same word, however, to describe somebody who informs the police of a rape at the end of his road is a completely different scenario. Its the same in the U.S. Youre led to believe that talking to the police the worst sin simply because it makes the criminal's lives easier. Im sure we've all seen those gay t-shirts which say 'stop snitching' on them. I literally cringe every time i see one of those because it reminds me of another black youth whose lost his way.

I agree with what youve said there. All I'm saying is it isnt just a black problem.

Seriously, not even trying to go round in circles...But what is talking black?!Unless I hear answers of Yourba, Ewe, Patois etc these answers should be length tbh.
[Eminem] He's mad so he's talking back, talking black, brainwashed from rock & rap [Eminem]'talking black'if someone says this they mean(normally) bassy/faux-bassy voiceslang talk (for example, africans using patois regularly, obv not all, but it has generally become a black thing to say things as 'wagwan' 'yout' etc etc)Speaking 'street'like speaking common I suppose, but a black version - this comes from a natural mix of original accents of say the carribean or africa, mixed with (normally) london/cockney accents, however, since a lot of blacks/mixed are now 3rd gen, the accent is adopted from their English born parents, so this has become somewhat 'the black accent' - see Ali G for an extreme example. Those are the things I can think of that someone would constitute as 'talking black' though the term generally will be used just to refer to someone who doesn't speak 'properly'This leads to a lot of people who speak 'the queens english' being labelled as bounties etcYou can tell a black man from a white man over the phone normally.AND YESMost of the confused misguided youth are US wannabes, whether they directly know it/acknowledge or notThe poison from that country has slowly leaked over to this one

So would people agree there is "Black English" & "White English"...?/I agree African-American culture has poisoned the British Blacks to an extent./(I was going to start a topic asking whether ethnic minorities can be racist, would probably be locked on 2nd page though)

the above in bold is bullshit, there is a strong "no snitching" mindset in the white communities in the parts of Liverpool that I know. I think its more of a class thing than a race thing.
what i hate about topics like this is u get white ppl (like that emo yute) talking there sh*t when they barely even know any black ppl in real life.dunno y u guys even comment on what they say

Yea there is white & black english, I suppose it'd be the Anglo-Saxon-ebonics :/Edit: infact, its not so much black english, its more a youth thing, words that are in and out, slang and the like, same way a black man can still sound black but say geezer, mate etc, the 'talking black' has a lot to do with cadence as much as actual wordsAnd of course they can be racistThere is the old 'you have to have racial superiority rah rah rah to be racist'And in the WIDER SENSE, perhaps that is true, but on a basic every-day level, of coursesh*t, look at this site/this thread

No hate on Esquilax, but he does make a lot of *observations* for such a young kid who hangs in emo circles. But the fact that people will have a go at him for it but then do EXACTLY the same thing is rediculous.Plus certain people here think that TV personalities somehow represent white people really show they dont know what they are talking about.

In fairness most of the people on this site are young (22 downwards) and hang in similarly 'segregated' circlesJust swap emo for road, road for indie (is this the same as emo? :/) etcA few people though seem to have a decent circle of social interaction, and it shows in what they sayAs for Esquilax himself, I'd say he's clever

people like esquilax always need people like cipher to validate them.thats why oona king was chosen to validate that documentary.the stupidity circle needs two willing volunteers to keep it going.

Normally you talk sense(ish) but not thisSome people are just guys in the forum to moan atEsquilax is young and white so he fits the bill, yet when says similar less subtle things, its hilarious? Not sure why this thread has turned into a discussion about him though it isn't really needed
