Unless they criticise modern rap music already, which most fans do, so what're you getting at. Vanilla Ice himself has said he regrets the way he let his management turn his quite honest rap aspirations into a glossy hyper commercialised package, safe rap, which was marketed to the masses. If anything I could quite easily blame Vanilla Ice for paving the way for future rap stars who are hitting platinum numbers off teeny boppers and suburbanites who don't know or care about hip hop culture.
