Arsenal will consider offering Ignasi Miquel on loan to Bolton as part of a deal for England defender Gary Cahill.Manager Arsene Wenger wants Cahill and Blackburn's Chris Samba, which means limited opportunities for the highly rated young Spanish centre half. The 18-year-old has already attracted interest from other Premier League sides but Bolton may consider him too inexperienced and look for a straight cash deal for Cahill.

Arsenal have made contact with Lille regarding the summer transfer of Belgian international Eden Hazard./
The only good thing I've read in this thread. Anything new regarding this?
Don't know if it's been posted or not but from the Daily Mail -
Arsenal target Eden Hazard was left reflecting ruefully on his latest opportunity to impress Arsene Wenger after delivering an incredible snub to his national coach Georges Leekens.Wenger monitored the 20-year old’s form throughout Lille’s title-winning season and despatched one of his scouts to Brussels for Belgium’s European Championships qualifier against Guus Hiddink’s Turkey last Friday. The Arsenal manager is unlikely to have been impressed with the feedback, though, after Hazard was substituted early in the second half and ended the game leaning against a burger stall outside the stadium. With the scores tied at 1-1, and Belgium needing a win to revive their qualifying hopes, Leekens sent on Dries Mertens for Hazard on the hour.An angry Hazard responded by marching straight down the tunnel and hurriedly changing before meeting his father Thierry and his agent at one of the burger bars, in the surrounding areas near the main entrance. While Belgium were frustrated in their quest for a winner, Alex Witsel blazing a penalty over near the end, Hazard tucked into a quarter-pounder outside, in full view of a television camera that captured the show of defiance. After being ticked off by Leekens, on his return to the dressing room after the final whistle, a contrite Hazard said: ‘I wasn’t happy, but I have no problem with the coach and I accept I should not have reacted like that.’Despite also being courted by Real Madrid and both Milan clubs, the winger is known to admire Arsenal’s style of play and is seen as a ready-made replacement for Sami Nasri, should the France midfielder leave this summer. But after winning the French League, and bracing themselves for the likely loss of another Arsenal target, in Gervinho, Lille are adamant he must stay at least one more year.

ARSENE WENGER has warned Samir Nasri he is not the finished article and needs to stay at Arsenal to become the complete player.Arsenal midfielder Nasri, with one year left on his current deal, is one of the hottest properties in Europe.Manchester United, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich are interested in the £25million-rated star, who is stalling on signing a new deal with the Gunners.Wenger is on a mission to take new talent to the Emirates this summer. But the Arsenal boss knows his biggest battles will be to keep Nasri and club captain Cesc Fabregas, who is once again being hunted by European champions Barcelona.Wenger said: "We will do everything to keep Nasri at the club. My wish is that he stays here."If he looks back he can see that he's come quite a long way with us, and I think there is still a bit to do. It's the club that makes the player's career."On Fabregas, Wenger said: "I will be pretty clear about this. For me, Fabregas is with Arsenal for a long time and he will stay with Arsenal."It sometimes happens that the rumour can make the transfer."Next year will see the introduction of the financial fair play system, which will limit the big transfers."I think this is the last year that the summer will be hot - very hot."

Who would take £35m plus Thiago for Cesc?
If Thiago signs a 8 year contract, and they throw in Rafa too yeah.
If Thiago signed for Arsenal it would only be so he can get some first team action, and then in 4 years time, f*ck right back off to the Barca first team
