Him and Shezny.It will be a battle between him and Kos. Both need a leader at the back though, telling them what to do./I would loooove if Squid got told to get off. JET did well for Doncaster last season but hasnt dun much for Cardiff and Gradel & Snodgrass look better players than Watt..Henri Lansbury should be promoted, he did well last season at Watford as was unlucky coz Cleverly was oustanding and got all the plaudits, but hes been fantastic for Norwich in the 2nd part of the season, shd be given a chance. TF S4DK Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 I said Szczesny would be ready for the #1 spot in two seasons, this season he should have been plying his trade in the Championship, but we have fast-tracked again and now he is our #1, he will cost us next season & hopefully when he dips he will be dropped for a confident Fabianski. We aint buying a keeper unless Almunia AND Mannone leave.The likes of Almunia, Rosicky, etc are not going to be easy to shift so dont expect it to happen tbh.With the except of Lansbury, JET, Watt, Eastmond, etc are all used sparingly at Championship clubs, they need to go out again & cement reputations I'm afraid, or be prepared to be used even less at Arsenal & knuckle down very very very f*ck*ng hard. Sad part is Arsenal have a few lads that could do that for him with the ability & technique, but their lack of experience & the deja vu feeling means its gonna be a hard sell to the average Arsenal fan this summer for them to come in.Also its not defo that Pat Rice retiring and even if he does, its more than likely he'll be replaced by someone already here, i.e. Steve Bould, Neil Banfield or Gilles Grimandi.
