Nah I see what Wavesurfer is saying.

Generally music is best when it's in it's rawest form which means in the case of OFWGKTA means them being crazy f*ckers in their own little circle. All this celebrity status, media exposure could f*ck up their chemistry.

Look at the catalogue of your 10 favourite artists and then put how you rate their albums in order, more time their early releases are your favourites.

TBH I'm not really into the way they've got so huge so quick, and now they've got these artists who are past their peak trying to jump on the bandwagon, along with all the johnny-come-lately fashion following fans (who'll jump off just as quick as they jumped on).

I just hope they keep putting out music of the calibre they've been putting out for ages. If they can keep doing that, none of the other sh*t will matter.

although i have a tad more hope in them seeing as they were ignored for the best part of 2 years by everyone, so i doubt they'll pander to the old guard with their pent up frustration etc

p.s. i dont think its a question of staying 'raw' with a group like odd future as thats essentially their whole appeal

as long as they concentrate on putting out good music thats congruent to what they're about then there wont be a problem imo

Im sure they are not the type to conform for a label, hence Frank Ocean and whatever his label alter ego is, OF was a chance for him to put out the music HE wanted.

I have faith. Plus working with NERD isnt bad at all. The beats they gave to Clipse are some of the best ever.

Working with Ke$ha and Drake is a step in the wrong direction, Oceans tracks sung by Beyonce and track with the Neptunes is pretty positive in my eyes

that mixtape his put out is better than nearly all of last years albums
