Notting Hill Carnival is funded by the government (and being cut) as well.

Diwali celebrations are funded by government.

Chinese New Year celebrations are partially funded by the government - though mostly through the London Chinatown Association, don't think African/Caribbean establishments have that sort of unified pulling power to produce the same funding though.

While yeah, to me Black History Month is air.... I don't think that means its fine for funding to just be stripped away from the community, especially seeing as it usually pushed into youth oriented projects.
