Luiz looked a class act, poor defending for the pen, awful in fact but he did very well for 92 minsRamires ate the midfield, he will be better than EssienIm seriously starting to wonder if Torres was any good, hes been dreadful for ages now
Torres has been good in a number of games this season.Hopefully we put a bid in of 15 million in the next transfer market.

why would you want him to stop running with the ball tho?/thats chelsea finished now just have to hope chelsea and pool can take points off utd.
A lot of the time it was in his own half and in other games could put his team in more danger. Maybe pick his time a bit better when he runs with it.

Luiz is such a Wenger defender, we must have tried to sign him at 16 but couldn't get a work permit :D
yeah the guy reminds me so much of Koscielny & Squillaci
It was a Arsenal fan joke tbh...f*ck them guys they cost millions, everyone knows Wenger's best CB signings are free.

Gareth Bale is out of our Champions League Round of 16 First Leg tie with AC Milan on Tuesday but Rafael van der Vaart should be fit to play at the San Siro.Luka Modric has travelled to Italy but remains a major doubt after having his appendix removed just under a fortnight ago.So it means Gareth will not return to the scene of his memorable hat-trick against Inter in the group stages of this competition back in October due to the back problem that has ruled him out of the last four games.Harry said: “It’s a big loss to us but he’s got a problem with his back. We tried to push him on a little bit but he broke down again on Saturday morning and we couldn’t take a chance with him really.”The manager also hinted that this game may be coming around a bit too soon for Luka as well, adding: “He joined in yesterday and will do a little bit tonight but at the moment I wouldn’t see him starting the game.”On a more positive note, he continued: “Rafa’s ok. He had a calf strain and came off against Bolton but should be ok.”Meanwhile, Peter Crouch will face a late fitness test having received a painkilling injection in his back, while Jermaine Jenas is suspended for the clash.Longer-term injuries Ledley King, Tom Huddlestone and Younes Kaboul have also stayed at home.

David Luiz arrived in Esporte Clube Vitória at the age of 14 after being released by São Paulo FC,[1] and started playing as a defensive midfielder, almost leaving the club for his poor performances in that position.[2] However, he was soon moved to central defender and adapted well.[3]Luiz made his official debut for Vitória in 2006, and excelled against Santa Cruz FC for that season's Brazilian Cup, in a 2–2 draw.[3] The team also promoted that year from the third division, with the defender being one of its best players.[4
