Gavin is worse than Justin, and thats saying something, that guy is just waiting to be released tbh.

Bartley ain't ready.

Gavin's better, no doubt about it.

Solid defender and quite comfortable on the ball, things Justin aren't.

Gavin would do a better job than Jenkinson.

If Bartley ain't ready then neither is Djourou or Koscielny because they are still playing like wankers.

Any money Bartley would have fitted in by now given the time Kos has been given.

Djourou still making mistakes like he is 14.

Justin played better than Gavin in the games they have played for Arsenal... People told me Gavin was better but I'm yet to see it and fans of the clubs he's gone on loan to haven't been impressed either, Brighton fans hated him.

Bartley is on par with Jenkinson as he is so rash, positioning is suspect, and doesnt have the athlete thing to save him last ditch in that regards.

and in the last 18 months Wengers been giving the english youts too much time and basically altered his stance in favour of english youths

he gave guys like connor henderson, gibbs, JET, yennaris, ramsey either minutes or place on the bench ahead of guys like merida and coquelin and imo it was just because they were british (other than ramsey who was bought)

Coz when he was getting stretchered off against Utd last season in the Fa Cup he had some stat about not losing or maybe losing once when he was on the pitch

Granted he aint been in great form since the injury but hes a good 3rd choice, hasnt really let us down really appart from recently, im not his biggest fan but lets not get carried away and start talking about senior players who have played at the highest level like they are anything

Bruv, Nicky Ajose scored 13 goals in 28 games on loan at Bury last season.

That is what you want your youth to do when you loan them out, take the place by storm.

And we sold him?

It's no coincidence the most successful team in Premiership history were made up of 5 guys from the same youth team with 2 or 3 others playing cameo every now and then.

You build rapport when you play with each other for a long time.

This Arsenal youth team that ate up everyone in their path is your era of Butt, Beckham, Scholes, Neville brothers etc...

And you are wasting it.

As a Utd fan you of all people should know how it works, Frazier played a main part in Hull's promotion campaign, Shawcross has done wonders for Stoke.. i could go on, doesnt mean they are good enough for Utd

Nicky Ajose was not good enough, i mean is he even better than Linegard, King, Cofie, Cole, Morrison, Pettruci?? Then dont forget they will need to make space for the new 16-18 year olds coming through, he did well and got a move to a championship club, got inj and is back on loan in Legue 1.. i am following his progress

To play for a top club which we are, the young players need to be above average, take youth football and winning cups at that level with a pinch of salt, the whole point of the youth team is to develop players for the 1st team

its about quality 1st and foremost if you have quality you will get games, every club releases youth players the best clubs in the world produce and release loads taking scholes and giggs for any luke chadwicks you are out of your wig mate

See I use to agree with you, and for the most part I do, but since the Denamrk England game and thereforth, I've actually put Djourou in the same box I put Squillaci and Denilson in.

Of course it doesn't mean that, but I think Campbell could have done well if he was given the same opportunities Welbeck has been given.

I think he is better than Welbeck technically.

Atleast 1 of them has been given a chance so there really is nothing to complain about.

Jay Simpson scored 2 against Wigan, played well uptop with Vela against Wigan first team.

Next Carling Cup match against Burnley he gets benched, plays Bendtner instead.

There is no logic behind those type of decisions.

You don't develop players mentally or physically by making stupid decisions like that.
