Better mathmaticians correct me if I'm wrong so...

Since May 2008 (let's round it down to 3 years).

Views to date: 1,585,970,068 (3 years)

1,585,970,068 / 3 = 528,656,687 (yearly views)

528,656,687 / 12 = 44,054,723 (monthly views)

44,054,723 / 1000 = $44,054.723

So if 1000k = $1 then his bagging roughly $44,054+ month? $525,656 p.a?

/

Apart from youtube & those that are really getting those cheques. This whole thing is mystery tbh.

Everyone is not the same on Youtube thats what people need to understand

So him i know for a fact he is not getting no $1per 1k views no way!!!

its gonna be more than that

He is the most popular person on Youtube so companies may see that and ask for product placement in a video

That is extra money as well

Plus it is just not views you get paid for you also get paid for people click on the ads on your videos

There is money to be made on Youtube

@ Duke Togo

Obviously I was just talking about views but I do understand that everyone gets different amounts & there are plenty other revenue streams like you've mentioned.

C/s you 100% on your last comment tho "There is money to be made on Youtube". You just have to treat it & go heard just like in any business.

There is a video with two toddlers called Charlie something popular vid think it has 90 million views. The parents were on London tonight just before Christmas and they said over 3 years they have made 100k from the vid

The parent's have got bare videos of the kids up now. When I first saw it they was only 3 videos on the channel lol.

Even those that remixed the videos got serious views.

i really do wonder how youtube makes money itself

even before doing this partner sh*t 48 hours of video are uploaded to the site every minute

where the f*ck are they storing these? how long can it carry on for? then they must have some super servers to encode these 48 hours a minute

makes my brain hurt
