I just watched last night's MOTD, and 'Arry reckons he was interested in Osvaldo when he was at Espanyol, and got mugged when he went there to see him. yet when he first told this mugging story, it was supposedly in Madrid while he was watching Forlan for Atletico in the derby. either he's desperately unlucky in Spain or he's a lying c*nt.

Yeh we're just too open and give away goals too easy. It's a simple enough observation and I think it's something we can work on. Half the back four is new, centre halves changing every game. We've got three weeks without a league game and three sides who we were never going to see much of the ball against out of the way so hopefully we can get going again against Newcastle.

 

The improvement since February has been massive and Lambert clearly knows what he's doing, I'm confident of a midtable finish this year. 3 points from those fixtures is a good return, and a lot of take from the second halves v Chelsea and Liverpool.

 

We do need to stop giving teams leads after 5/10/15 minutes though, but it's the nature of our play. I don't think we're going to draw too many games this year.
