Mz Boyage Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 I've never heard of any cases where a white person has Sickle Cell.Yea most def something funny going on yeah people of edditranian background can get it too!my best friend now has it he almost died about 2 years ago because he went into sikkle cell crisis and had some rare case of melingitus from America at the same time...it was a life o death situation.... luckly he pulled though.... eventurly!its scary knoing how damaging it can be... Its genetic, only found in black people or people with colour.Mediterranean (sp) people have a similar disease which is exclusive to them.
