Some girl was telling me at work how her grandma calls mixed race kids 'chocolate drops' lolI guess some people don't know what they are supposed to say, like negro and coloured used to be the norm. I usually think that if its not said in a derogatory way its best just to correct them nicely. When people say to me 'Oh your dad is half caste' I don't like that phrase so I just say, 'Yeah, he's mixed race' and they get the message.
