FAO Mixed race people dem

BLACK VICTIM

Recommended Posts

I have thought about this... and other people have pointed it out tryna mock me. Yes it would be weird because the family that raised me are black... so having white children would be odd. But if i can love a white man i don't see why it would be a problem loving my children that have come out white. Obviously they will be taught about their roots and culture.I don't get approached by white guys anyway... but you never know.

I doubt people from "black countries" anywhere refer to mixed race people as white.
I remember 1 guy I used to know says back home, 1 country in Africa cant remember, they call them half cast still. But I think I get what he's saying, they will be viewed at as the minority depending on the makeup of the population.
Was just about to say they're never gonna be a majority or even a strong minority, then I thought of all the profile pic White girls love Black man, Black man that love White woman and Black Women that hate Black men are there are a lot of the last two.

im not even tryna start suttin here but i really really really really wont have any mix raced children. never ever gonna have a white baby mum. EVER.
when all our kids grow up i doubt they will care about things like this and thats what matters the most i think its good to maintain white or black or whatever but LEARN to live with eachother with out watching face none of us are capable of this as we have all been exposed to racism in such ways that will not compare to how little racism there will be in britain say 10 years from now there is more interaction than there has ever been, there our kids will be able to deal with this much better than we can.

why do people think being mixed race accounts for being like full black... like the half white bit means nothing... like if a mixed race person is with a white person there selling out black people so stupid i swear
One drop rule. Also in a normal black family u can get all types of shades, with no direct mixing with white people, as in some light some brown some dark. (from back in bloodline). But you wouldnt get that in a white family.

yeah i don't get this either...i don't see myself as black...but i don't see myself as white either. i'm just mixed init.i hate it when people try and shove me in a category for convenience... its quite insulting actually.i don't really worry about what colour my kids will be...and i don't worry about them knowing about 'my culture' because i don't really feel like i have one. i have too many backgrounds and know too little about each of them.however they turn out is how they turn out...i'll love them just the same

I hate the fact that race is and will always be an issue..but the thing I hate the most is those who try to pretend like race aint an issue into todays society.lol its funny how certain people go on abat preserving race, yet they are in other threads murking their own kind all day..msot of my mixed race friends will go all pro-black all day long, but they are wifing a white thing or ocassionaly mixed person.Main important part for me is the culture, my youths have to have the strict upgringing and morals my parents passed on to me...regardless of what race.. But I aim for someone from my background

well put. as long as they know and appreciate where their heritage is from which is a strength not a confusion...then ive won, like mine did.

some people get confused about who and what is black because you can be black by race/ ethnicity and black by appearance. As Black people come in many shades the reason i may call a mixed race person black is if they are black by appearance. When i say black i mean light or dark, chocolate, charcoal, ivory etc whatever. An example, Halle Berry and Beyonce both share similar skin tones. 2me Halle Berry is Black by appearance whilst being mixed race ethnically/racially. Beyonce is Black by both. I will still call them both Black women, it doesn't mean i am not recognizing the fact that Halle Berry has a white parent etc. Same with Alicia keys. Bob Marley was a black man, He had a white parent. One can be black via appearance, race, culture *(and when i say culture i don't mean a white child growing up in the ends and all their friends are black and them speak 2 slangs)

Do you think about if you have a child with a white person your kid could be basically white, I know most mixed race people have white mums and black dads, so when you grow up without a dad you have no black influence and only learn blackness from friends/street. I'm a light mixed race so my kid would look white if I impregnate a white ting, but I like black females more anyway and can't see myself marrying into white. It seems like a stupid thing to be worrying about, if you love someone you love them, you have a kid and you'll love it regardless, but it is still something I have thought about. Being raised by a single black mum and all my family being black, having a white child would seem wierd.Opinions?
My sister looks white, though she had both black and white influences

so if a white child is raised with a black family, are they black because they've experienced black culture?to me being black is more than just culture
Yes, agree, Black is more than just a culture.
What a ridiculous question, of course they are not Black. You have to have some Black in you to start with.
