the fact of the matter is ISP's just wouldnt do it.I pay £24 for my 20mb broadband right now.2mb is bless for gaming, so if i was suddenly stopped from downloading i'd drop right down to 2mb and pay so much less.theyd lose ALOT of money

no, rapidshare are already being made to clear up their act, but the terms are currently, as with youtube, "if something illegal is happening we won't stop it until someone complains" so to speakit will be illegal to download illegal files off these things but the services are legal themselves, if piracy and copyright infringement was outlawed properly from these sites then they would probably die out

Will never happen.
ISP's can see every file you downloadso it COULD, and nobody can complain because its illegal!
nahthey see packets, not files.n theres really no way of knowing unless the packets are coming from a known IP address that supplies illegal content
well loads of Americans get "certain" torrents BLOCKED by their isp, not even the website or the torrent file just the data being requested.while others still work
