Van Gaal won't last longer than 2 seasons

Kompressor - Why aren't you running witht "the new manager won't get financial backing" anymore?

Agony - Do you think Zaha will start the first 5 games of next season?

Kompresser has already said why, they thought Moyes could do what Fergie does with minimum spending to earning ratio, that failed, us loosing out on CL, obviously they realise they need to start investing in their cash cow before its too late

And Zaha I see no reason why Zaha cannot start the firs 5 games even if you are taking the piss, Van Gaal doesnt give a shit about status or age

Seeing Zaha training next to Young and Valencia, there will only be one winner, should have been this way under Moyes but he didnt have the balls to do it, and it paid for the price for him in the end, the results were bad, but the conservative and pragmatic approach sealed his fate

And 2 seasons would be enough anyway to transform our playing style, integrate 4/5 youth players and get rid of the deadwood and trim down the egos (rooney)

The amount of bids / player aquistions in Moyes tenure makes your first line a load of bollocks

Zaha wasn't even a starter for Cardiff City. What makes you think he's good enough to play for Man U?

How old is Januzaj? Did Moyes play him?

how many bids were there in the summer pray tell?

if my memory serves me right

Thiago saga, ended by pep's entrance to the debate.

Cesc saga, initiated by his people to strengthen his position at Barca and summed up by "interesting" bids from Woodward. Deal was never likely given that Thiago had just left.

We then had a bag of air talk about Schwinsteiger. Don't think a bid was made here.

Herrera was embarrassing to everyone. Even the club don't seem to sure about what happened there.

Then we had Fellaini.

3 of these were never gonna happen in reality. leaving the the obvious signing everyone assumed Moyes would make upon his arrival.

Left back was still unseen to.

Your talking like United went out and were bullish in the market and did business swiftly and with authority. when in reality the summer transfer window was a shambles and basically a load of posturing.

Then we have January, a big signing. (one that maybe didn't fit, but a big signing none the less) described by Woodward as an opportunistic one. Brokered by the old manager and ex chief exec in a deal where we seemingly paid more than we could've done in the summer for a player Jose did not want.

but yeah you're right, I apologise, the Glazer's will be "putting their hands in their pockets and providing Manchester United with the funds to rebuild the squad during the next 3 transfer windows"

Whether or not the "Thiago saga" was ended by the Pep you still bid for the player which requires money. Likewise with Fabregas

Bids don't always work, that's football, it is not "posturing"

News just in. Manchester Utd bid £27 million for Luke Shaw....
