Some bold statements being made in here about his potential being better than Rooneys. I'll be suprised if he reaches Rooney Levels in the future. Guys a quality prospect for us and would love him to make a go of a United career but through his own demeanor on how he handles himself and the fact he's pretty similar to a lot of local guys round here in how they play ball I don't know. He always comes down to Soccer Barn in OT playing Fives.

PSV Eindhoven starlet Andreas Pereira has confirmed that he is joining Manchester United, as revealed exclusively by skysports.com.

We broke the news on Saturday that United were set to clinch a deal for the 15-year-old - rated as one of the best players for his age in Europe.

The Brazilian-born Belgian youth international has accepted an offer from United, and will leave the Philips Stadion for Old Trafford in the New Year.

"I knew that PSV had given me my chance, but Manchester United is obviously a great club," he told VoetbalPrimeur.

"Other British clubs were interested. I thought about it, but Manchester United is a dream club for me.

"I have been a few times to Manchester United to have a look.

"I got a tour and spoke with Sir Alex Ferguson. Being a 15-year-old and being able to talk with him is great!"

Them value for money deals, saves us going in for Hazard

How he plays translates to 11s, so theres no worries there.

Michael Chambers, a teenage defender at Dulwich Hamlet, is the subject of an unlikely transfer pursuit involving no less than Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and seven other clubs.

Ten teams ranging from United to Bristol City, and including Everton and Aston Villa, were represented at Dulwich Hamlet’s Ryman League fixture last Saturday.

Chambers, 17, plays at centre half for Dulwich, who are top of their division. He is 6ft 2in, left-footed and has a growing reputation for elegance on the ball.

Originally with Millwall and then in Reading’s youth team, Chambers was thought to lack aggression and was released by the Championship club.

But a series of displays in senior amateur football have made him the recent focus of youth scouts across the country.

Dulwich Hamlet is where Ian Wright began his career before being signed by Crystal Palace. In March, Palace signed another 17-year-old centre half from the non-league side in Quade Taylor, while another Dulwich 17-year-old, striker Paul McCallum, joined West Ham in January.

What you have to realise is a lot of people are jealous souls in this world.

Everyone would want to be in his place just some people take it badly.

It only takes a few for a bad feeling to be present, it ain't the majority just a few self involving idiots.

What makes Rooney so special is his temperament, similar to Gascoigne, he has a thuggery in him that made him born ready.

He isn't the most gifted footballer that has walked through OT, but a person with that lack of self doubt comes along every 10/15 years.

Manchester United have confirmed that they are not ready to let England Under-21 striker Will Keane out on loan.

Red Devils reserve boss Warren Joyce revealed his delight that Keane, who is yet to make his first-team debut for United, was called up by Stuart Pearce.

Keane, whose brother Michael is also at United, came on and played in England's 5-0 win over Iceland, and a number of league clubs are believed to have shown an interest in landing him.

But Joyce admits that United want to keep hold of him for a while longer.

"It's a great little taster for him and an opportunity for him to go and work with those players at that level and the staff at that level as well," Joyce told the club's official website.

"We're pretty confident here that Will could be out there doing it in the league but there's things we want him to develop in-house before he goes out."

Keane has long been billed as one of the real gems of United's current crop of youngsters, and he has even been likened to Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

"He's very elegant on the ball and has traits like those two players," added Joyce.

"He just needs to be himself and come out and be known as Will Keane.

"Both Sheringham and Solskjaer were fantastic strikers, technicians and goalscorers but they also had a ruthless streak in them. We're trying to bring that out in Will at the minute.

"He's great and a really nice lad off the field. We're trying to get him to be ruthless, show aggression to finish runs into the box and be more desperate for goals. I think these are the things that we've got to try to drill into him and I expect him to have a bright future."

Loans

Meanwhile, Joyce also revealed that fellow youth players Ryan Tunnicliffe and Danny Drinkwater - who are both currently on loan in the Championship with Peterborough and Barnsley respectively - were back at the club this week to train with the first team.

"We try to get the loan boys back here," he said.

"Ryan has been training with the first-team and Danny was in.

"We try to bring them back during the international break just to have a little taste of training with the first team in that group today. It keeps them in the club and makes sure they feel part of things."

tbh, i wouldn't mind seeing some of the kids given a chance, especially considering how apart from Cleverly, none of the guys have set it alight in CM so far,

but we can't blood youngsters like Palace do, for obvious reasons, and at this stage if it was going to be anyone, it'd be Pogba right now. would love to see him out on loan in January, (i'm saying this without knowing what stage he's at i.e how settled he is and how he'd adapt to going out on Loan)

Tunnicliffe's doing alright out on loan, hopefully he gets another loan in the premiership early next season,

with the way City are going on, and the potential problems Chelsea could cause us, i fully get why the young guns haven't been given a proper chance,

especially considering man Like Carrick, Giggs, Berbatov have not really been involved so far.

the premiership is abit of different beast to what it was in 96

Hope we go all out in the next league cup game though, Pogba Morrison and Keane to get starts, and Cole to get a decent amount of playing time, see how they perform against a championship outfit
