Messy Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 why are you even waiting to take a test if shes already late by 2 weeks?the latest ive been late is 8 daysive also taken a test 4 days prior to my period being due and got a positive result so its mos def not too early for her to find out. Imo the earlier you find out the more options you leave yourself with,i would take a test now then if negative wait a week then if still no period you should go to the doctors with her ,he will draw blood and have it tested for the amount of HCG in her system anything over 10 and shes pregnant,pregnancy tests detect HCG levels over 30 some only over 50 and it can sometimes take a woman up to 7 weeks to builld that amount of HCG up in her system while pregnant so you could still be taking pregnancy tests and getting negative results and think your safe.so do a test,wait a week then docs for blood. Just take the test. Going on like it's impossible to know she's pregnant unless she misses her period by 2 weeks.And for the record, a yes is ALWAYS a yes but a no can sometimes be a yes that was tested too early.get her to TAKE A TEST...like seriously...its better than stressing.
