Season 4 (Day 97)He and the other mercenaries are responsible for the shooting deaths of Karl and Danielle. ("Meet Kevin Johnson") He then takes Alex as bait for Ben, in order to extract Ben from his house. However, Ben remains steadfast, denouncing his daughter. Keamy then shoots Alex in the head, killing her. This prompted a shocked Ben to unleash the Monster, which attacked the Freighter's mercenaries. Keamy could be heard repeatedly calling for his squad to fall-back, but it is unknown if he managed to escape.
In "The Shape of Things to Come", Ben is apparently able to call the monster to attack Keamy and his mercenaries after they kill Alex. The monster proceeds to attack and possibly kill the mercenaries, while Locke, Ben, Sawyer, Hurley, Claire, Aaron and Miles escape from the barracks. It is also notable that the monster is quite larger than ever seen before, swarming and coiling in a large and long snake-like stream, seemingly covering the entire area the mercenaries are hiding.
Jack flashforward epThese are the 1s which generally reveal alot of storylineswear this is the 1st Jack flashback/forward this season? Just goes to show Jack's fallen off as the main character of Lost, and replaced by Locke/Ben IMO

When ever it attacks someone it contains pictures of their past. When it got eko it had pictures of his past in Africa etc and moving images of his family and that
Before the new ep comes up, just wanna let you into a little theory I've half heard and have adapted.What I reckon the smoke monster is;I don't think it actual exists... I think that when Ben went in that room and 'flashed forward' he wasn't actually having a flash forward - he was travelling through time from 2004 knowingly doing it.Thats why he needed to check the year with the receptionist.I reckon when he went there he took out the right people and the Universe had to go back into 2004 because Ben had altered the past from the future... so the smoke monster is the Islands way of removing the people that Ben had disposed of in the future.I know its sketchy, and I cant take full credit... many people been saying it, but I really think it holds weight.
Whatever they used to explain this now is just going to be stupid anyway. Back in season 1 we'd be watching and be expecting a logical reason for all of the happenings but now it's just some unrealistic sci fi sh*t so they can just say anything to explain the madness.
