Eto'o Could Face Lengthy Prison Sentence

Samuel Eto'o could face a lengthy prison sentence if he is found guilty of assault after he reportedly attacked a journalist in Cameroon last week.

Authorities have opened an investigation and have already had a lot of people come forward stating that they will testify against the Barcelona striker.Other journalists who were present are outraged by the player's actions and are calling for him to face strong punishment for his assault of one of their own.Philippe Boney was left with two fractures and severe bruising on his face after allegedly being headbutted by Eto'o in the frenzy.Witnesses also claim that other players that were present took cameras off journalists that had pictures that could have been used as evidence.The problems started when the press refused to ask questions in protest at Cameroon holding a private training session ahead of the game against Cape Verde.
