i hate to break it to you guys but uni will be worse.

they dont teach you anything, its your job to go find the resources and teach yourself. sometimes the lecturers are so bad and difficult to understand you may aswell not attend any lectures because you wont learn anything more.

Next year I'mma tear up my course. TBH I haven't made any tight enough circles to have that much of a social time next year as I have had this year due to proximity + I'm still not gonna bother making friends in my department so I'm gonna be able to focus more on my degree and if possible make some money through a few projects.

ye adapting the right mentality will help u get through most of it.

but thats the thing, most people who go to uni are not ready for a 9-5 and expect it to be anything but. some can eventually get their heads around it if their course is really 9-5 (+ more) ish, but some people seriously wont see it or wont be able to handle it and will either fail or quit.

neither was i when i started, but i suppose its good now because im fully conditioned to be able to hack a 9-5 no sweat.

but i wish id been given fair warning about this issue and a few others, just so i could of made a more educated decision on whether goin to uni was worth it and if so whether the course and the place i wanted to go was the right choice.

That course sounds sick.

What does it lead on to in terms of jobs?

For the film and media part can just go into working within TV or film, art admin or teaching. Where as the Japanese I was told I can get a job out there some students have gone to work and studying kind of like an apprenticeships.

How old are you Stat if you don't mind me asking? I assumed you were around the same age as me? Early 20's

Congrats though, sounds sick man.

Yeah I'm 23, going to be interesting how I juggle it with working 7 days a week.

Cheers everyone
