He doesnt have to tell the media. He may have burnt bridges but who's to say he wants to disrespect people/the club further?

ALEX HLEB will complete his dream move to Barcelona this weekend after agreeing a four-year deal with the Spanish giants last night. He will be followed out of Arsenal by Gilberto Silva, off to Panathinaikos in Greece. Arsenal insist they have not agreed a fee for Hleb, who is meant to report back for pre-season training today. But Barca are confident of landing the Belarus midfielder for £15million. The Spaniards are currently offering £12.5m with the promise of a further £2.5m based on appearances and trophies over the next two seasons. But Arsenal are holding out for a guaranteed £15m, a fee already offered by German champions Bayern Munich. Officially, Barcelona have broken UEFA regulations by holding contract talks with Hleb while he has two years of his Arsenal contract to run. But the Gunners will turn a blind eye in the hope of wrapping up negotiations which have dragged on for almost three months. Manager Arsene Wenger is resigned to losing Hleb, who thought he was heading to Inter Milan until Jose Mourinho took charge at the San Siro. And Arsenal will use the cash to finance their move for French international Samir Nasri, who will arrive next week from Marseille in an £11.5m deal. The Gunners will bank a further £2m if Brazilian midfielder Gilberto completes his switch to Panathinaikos as expected. His representatives are flying off to Athens this morning to begin negotiations and Wenger will not stand in Gilberto’s way. The Arsenal boss had hoped Gilberto would see out the remaining year of his contract to fill the gap left by Mathieu Flamini’s departure to AC Milan.
But he knows he cannot offer Gilberto, 31, a new deal and is happy to reward his loyalty after six years at Arsenal. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle1402771.ecelol @ next week for Samri again lol..Goodbye Hleb!

I read somewhere that Hleb scored 10 times in 130 appearances for Arsenal. Shocking really.
Not reallyWe all know that he rarely scores.
We all knew this, but I did not know that he was THAT bad. I assume that his stats offsets this figure a little however. Babel has already equalled Hleb's total for 'Pool on his debut season.

people are stating facts tho, you can follow blindly only for so long.hleb is gone face the facts we arent realistically stopping him from leaving. I'm not too fussed if we get 15+Theres direct quotes indicating Gilberto is goneWe have not denied what galliani said about arsenal now willing to negotiate for Adebayor, this indicates that is fact.
