Yeh man course...but atm I have a slight dilemma, just got a call from them to say that they want me for a second interview for tomorrow.Thing is I phoned in sick for my current job yesterday, and so did another member of my team and he is off sick today and I know for a fact my manager is not going to let me have an afternoon off unless its for a really good reason.Told the woman that called that there's people off in my team and manager won't let me have time off, she asked what would be the earliest I could get off work, told her that I could probably leave an hour early, but the thing is my current job is casual dresswear so I can't roll into my work all suited and booted coz they will know where I'm going. What do I do?

Dress all suited and booted and tell your workers/boss you have an important family occassion to attend to after?
Yeah, Macz I reckon this is the best course of action. Anyone asks for details tell them it's personal and you would rather not talk about it.

lol boy, got another call from this woman, and she told me that the person interviewing me (who is higher up) has all of a sudden changed the job role, and I wouldn't be suitable for it, she was saying how she was disappointed that she has only just found out now la la laI knew there was some fiction in there. I get a text about an hour later from the girl who originally forwarded on my cv an she said she heard what happened and said that there is another position going, would I like to try out for it. I said why not, but would it be worth it if I have no experience whatsoever, where as the job I had an interview I did.She called me about 10 mins ago, told me the real deal. The woman didn't think I would be able to deal with clients, I said 'wicked' on the phone to her and I said 'excellent' in one of the e-mails.some hype ting, maybe I slipped up with saying wicked, but why call me for a second interview an then call me back offering me a subscription for british gas?anyways the girl that works there who I know, said out loud in her office that i never got the job and she wern't happy with the reasons this woman gave, because she has worked with me before, knows I can deal with clients etc, spoke to her manager and he wants me to have an interview...I'm gonna have a think about it overnight an give her a shout tomorrow

To not take the second interview is disrespect.

Just got a bar job , now just waiting for orange interview tomorrow.3 jobs and at uni its nice, its nice
I honestly wouldn't recommend that. One job really and truly and you will need to limit the hours on it. The work will get on top of you as well as your academics. If you're first year, it's not so bad, but second year onwards I personally wouldn't recommend it. All about focusing on your studies as much as possible.
