slash that gatsby tune was ARD.
c/swhen u come to clarence clarenceit's like guns r us
Gatsby should be signed, in the space of 2 tunes he's in my books as one of the best rappers out there. This song is a musical classic (across all genres)As for ghetto, his singles signed. As for Ironik, lets not get it twisted - he's on a major label with major label ££

called him ghetts from day. minor
While most ppl proly do call him Ghettz (myself included), the name sounds very weak, low-rent and Channel Uish (especially with the 'z' at the end) to be taken as seriously as Ghetto will probably hope to be takenFair enuff Grime MC names are generally very generic sounding anyway (which suprised me Dizzee Rascal was accepted the way it was), but I'd imagine Ghetto was signed to be a more intellectual MC (as opposed to Wiley's 'single, single' approach)Then again I only heard Sing for Me Electro Remix was signed, and if he's used as a singles maker like Wiley has been then Ghettz could be more acceptable P.S There's nothing wrong with the name Ghetto anyway

it puzzles me why anyone thinks just cause it's business it's acceptable or a minor in any way.it's more then just that.it's about MUSICAL INTEGRITY.something that Grime lost timeeeeeeee ago.and it wont stop there.first its the name change.then it's tempo.next it's content.and sooner rather than later they'll get 'ghetts' doing tunes with Jordan Sparks or something.BULLSHIT.he's GHETTO for a reason.all it needs is someone to say 'f*ck you' to these record labels when they try these moves.but thats unlikely as most of the heads involved in Grime are so broke they'd do anything for a bit of cash, especially if it's something they enjoy.

If you say f*ck YOU to your label, then you shouldn't have signed in the first place. Everyone knows the label is in charge of you when you sign, if you don't read the small print then thats your own problem. When you sign to a label, you are nothing more than a product for them to earn money from. If you want to be all about the music and stay true to yourself, then stay indie... but of course, no one wants to be a nobody these days.
