If you have a wire plugged into the channels your trying to avoid your tv will always attempt to check those channels as you cycle through.Disconnect the wires from your tv to skip any channel.... Works/worked for me but I use all the ports now so its nothing
Wrong, aint no wires plugged and the Source always shows up EXT1 AND EXT2.....

How do you make the light just under the SAMSUNG bage to turn off when on STANDBY instead of illuminating blue?
Click the menu button on the remote then navigate the the menu.Should have an option for the light.

lol You would need to see it with your own eyes, However it sounds weird to say it would be better than HD.
Xbox 360 with the settings off AV Forums through VGA on a R87 >>> HDMI
Don't be silly.Someone tell him not to be so silly.
its truecolours look betterthe image looks a fair bit sharper as wekk ( u get less jagged lines)
No way. I really will have to see this. I got an Elite and R87 hooked up through HDMI.Noticed septik saying about the price we pay (having to flick through bare channels to get to the on gaming's on) for high quality gaming, what size and make TV's are you man using for gaming?

32" Samsung R87and trust me you'll be thanking me once you discover how much better VGA is, only downside is you need a seperate speaker system to play the game audio, cos the tv dont allow u to have an audio input combined with vga

Any1 eleses samsung tv's make a weird noise when u have it in pc mode?if i have just been watching channel 1,2,3,4 or 5 and left the channel on and switched over 2 pc mode, thers some random weird noise coming out the tv speakersfinally found a way 2 stop it by turning 2 channel 0 then switching over to pc mode or putting the volume to 0. But is ther any other way 2 stop this noise permently? gets on my nerves.

I had this same long problem but then figured out u could jus do this :- Press Menu button on your remote- Then press up to go to the sidebar that looks like two component cables- And then select it and go to source list and select what channel you wantSee if that works for you man
