anybody know any good apps to see what is running in the background? (and able to close them)

i went to sleep last night with about 80% battery... woke up and it was at 11%, any longer and my alarm wouldn't have gone off lol

it's since i've jailbroken it, i deleted winterboard, activator... but there's other stuff i think maybe from cydia that may be running in the background.

Halifax, you pay £12.50 a month but get £5 back each month you pay in £1000 or more.

So bearing in mind my iPhone 4 would be £15 to insure thats already half the price plus the account includes AA cover and worldwide travel insurance.. lots more (a whole booklet of offers).

Covers everything and is free to open but you would kind of have to switch bank accounts lol. The benefits are there though.

I would poss everything you just said.. BAR just 1 ting. The bloody bank. Allow getting charged £1 a day on an arranged overdraft, Soon as I'm back in the country, bank manager's getting a visit. But least they're not the only bank that does these kinda deals so there's options all over the place.

overdraft on the account mentioned is free up to £300

If you can't bear to miss even a minute of the action, or you've been dragged out shopping with the missus, seek football solitude with T3's select football iPhone apps to help keep the beautiful game a 24/7 love affair.

I have 3.1.3 with the spirit jailbreak, what do I need to do to upgrade to 4.0 and jailbreak?

Will it f*ck up my phone when I tried doing the blackra1n to spirit thing?

It's a 3GS 16gb

normally all you have to do is back up all the stuff on your phone, do a restore as new phone on itunes and then jailbreak.

But i think 4.0.2 firmware has been released, designed to basically patch the jailbreak.

I'm not sure exactly if you can update to 4.0.1 now.

Those are basically standard ipod service apps that usually hidden in thebackground

But for some reason when you install apps they decide to show themselves

Blank white app icons right?

Are you jailbroken ? Normally a JB thing

A simple respring from w/board or sbsettings will remove em.

But i found after practically every app i installed they came back (resulting in frequent resprings)

if it is under warranty you should still be able to book an appointment at the Genius Bar and have them take a look at it. Be nice and polite and they may swap your phone for you.
