Haven't read this but they can take it further without the person pressing charges. My bredrin is going to Crown court for wounding WITHOUT intent and the guy isn't even pressing charges.Police are cunts. Man just finished a Philosophy and Theology degree and is a few months into a Law Conversion which won't even be worth finishing if he gets so much as a caution.

probably got a better chance at crown than magistrates especially for suttin like that^^thats not the point tho.
Yeah it was Magistrates but his lawyer (I dunno whether it's a solicitor or barrister or even brief) said take it to the Crown as he'll have a better chance. f*cked though. He hit a guy that was coming for him and there were 3 other guys in the car so he hit him hard to knock him down then ran like f*ck.Problem is he's like 6"4 and a cagefighter so the police are going on like he's some trained killer. Man just got back from Tanzania where he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Childreach International and volunteered at a school. f*ck*ng bullshit.

Its all about the interview tbh and how you perceive yourself....i was caught on cctv for a S20 and got it down to a S17 from my interview alone, then caught life and got away with nothing.

Was he referred from the Mag Court because I find it highly unlikely a case for wounding without intent, without a victim pressing charges is being brought to the Crown Court?

What would that entail? He never actually went to mag court.

he must have. even for big cases u go magistrates first as a formality.
He had a thing that was set to be on a set date. He went. Then he came back and said he was going crown. Then that keeps getting pushed back.As much as I know.
