Promotion to the first team

This season theres been quite a few younger reserve team players that have been given a chance in the premiership and the cups and have done well. What reserves would you like to see promoted to your first team or even just moved a step or two closer to playing in your first team ? and what reserves have you seen from other teams that you think should be closer to being in the first team, or that have impressed you ?

Hungarian prodigy Krisztian Nemeth is the most talked about player in Liverpool's reserve ranks. The striker arrived from MTK Hungaria alongside compatriot Andras Simon in the summer of 2007 having impressed in the previous year's UEFA Under-17 Championships. After signing a three-year deal, he quickly set about finding the back of the net, bagging a brace on his second-string debut against Man City.If this had Kopites purring, a double in the mini-derby a week later really got the terraces buzzing.Nemeth went on to score his 9th of the league campaign as the reserves clinched the national title at Anfield against Aston Villa in May 2008.Later that month, after netting the crucial goal against Portugal to take Hungary U19s to the European Championships, he received his first senior international call up.With lethal finishing, great movement and a fine touch, big things are expected of Nemeth, who has yet to make his first-team bow for Liverpool.

Argentinean starlet Emiliano Insua is one of the brightest hopes among Liverpool's reserve ranks. The left-back has impressed during a handful of first-team appearances since making his debut against Portsmouth on April 28, 2007.He was also a key man as Gary Ablett's second string clinched the national title in 2007-08.Insua started out at Boca Juniors, though never played a first-team game at La Bombonera.Noted for his attacking prowess, he is a regular for Argentina Under-20s and helped them win the 2007 FIFA World Cup.
Potentially the best left back in the world in a few years

Agree with those 2. I think if Duran manages to get back from those injuries he has the potential to make up for some lost time. very intellegent player. san jose is sick aswell, so composed on the ball its unreal. Anderson and Hammill both look good while on loan (Hammills loan ends next month i think, be interesting to see what happens at the end of that) and Leto is playing sick at olympiacos. Wouldnt mind seeing him as second choice LM if he can continue that form and bring it with him. Hammill after Insua and Nemeth, player with the most potential in our reserves is undoubtedly... danielpacheco.jpgfirst touch, control, creativity, too much. plays like he's alot older rthan 17 man. only problem for me is his size, if he gets stronger then it will add alot to his gamealso Lauri Dalla Valle...absolute goal machine
