Yeh Taser is torture device obvIt only 'subdues' people because they cannot handle the pain anymore, and because they are in fear of pain they have to give in.Torture is attempting to coerce someone to do or say something through severe physical pain....thats exactly what tasering is.Getting them to stop resisting/do what you are telling them through pain.
