You never know, they may be able to pull it off with time.

Google has a good link between its mobile and web products, Apple has a good link between its mobile and desktop products - Microsoft have this real positive where they have an opportunity to link between all 3 mobile, desktop and web products.

Its a shame Google doesn't have a proper rival desktop OS, I imagine they'd be able to deliver quite a good product.

In mobile you'd expect them to attempt to regain the business market from iOS and BlackBerry. Depending on how developer-friendly WP8 is, you'd possibly see some of the nerd market taken in.

In the PC market a bit of good marketing of Windows 8 will bring back the clueless heads who were thinking of switching because they heard "Macs never break down" and so and so, I also imagine they won't have much to worry about in the case of the standard consumer who wants to pay less than £800 for a computer. Business users also have no reason to move from Windows.

I don't think Microsoft or Google will be able to get designer heads/show offs to go for their products unless they have some new brand.

Somehow, the Note2 is connected to my Xbox...?

I was watching Netflix and looking through some pictures on my phone. Saw a button I never saw on my S3 so naturally I press it. Next minute netflix stops and the picture is on my TV?

Whenever I scroll left and right on the phone and change pics it does it on the Xbox straight away...

Bare in mind I got the phone 2days ago so i have absolutley no idea how its doing this Lol.

Editorial: Amazon and Google are undermining mobile pricing, and that may hurt everyone

http://www.engadget....mobile-pricing/

recently Engadget has been d*ckriding Apple SO hard

Does Google really earn enough from store sales to warrant cheap prices for their hardware? Or are they just not ripping people off like the other firms?

Amazon yeah I can definitely see them selling to make people buy from the store. eBook sales overpassed hardback sales in the US didn't they?
