My 32GB micro  SD card was having problems with my S3, a search on google showed me these two don't like eachother.

Emailed Sandisk and they said it's a known issue and their new batch will work, and they'll send a new one out free of charge.

Good Customer Service goes a long way.

Just an fyi if anyone here has the same issue.

Took the SD Card out yesterday, battery life is so much better, almost 30% was taken from the SD Card mounting and then unmounting itself all day.

I also had the exact same issue with my S3. My battery was struggling for a while, couldn't figure it out then I noticed it kept showing what looked like a memory card icon in the top left whenever I unlocked my phone. And it showed media stuff draining the battery when I had wiped all media off.

Bought a brand new SD card and the battery life is amazing now.

Installed an SD Card monitoring app, the thing would mount/unmount 10 times in as many minutes, so fucked.

Email Sandisk, they will probably reimburse you for the broken one

UK carrier Three is in 'no rush' to switch on LTE, probably won't do so until Q4

three-uk-lead.jpg

Three's CEO could teach Vodafone's CEO a thing or two about diplomacy. Whereas Vittorio Colao dismissed British LTE users as "technofreaks", Dave Dyson has merely said that he's "fairly relaxed" about upgrading Three's network. During a quarterly earnings report yesterday, he said he's in "no rush for LTE" and told people not to expect Three's newly acquired chunks of LTE spectrum to be brought to life until Q4 of this year. He intends to wait and see how O2 and Vodafone position themselves, and that's fine -- just so long as he sticks to the earlier promisenot to charge extra for unlimited LTE data.

if they do unltd LTE for the same price im paying now ill propose to the CEO

is that you got one yeah? whats it saying for web/facebook?

sick idea.

but when am i gonna be wearing a watch and not have my smartphone with me

and

how the FUCK you gonna listen to music on it? wireless headphones?

THREE HUNDRED POUND? fuck that

its all long bruv

its not independent, it needs to be tethered to the phone by bluetooth, only the time will work independently, then if you want it to access the net you need to turn on bluetooth tethering on your phone which just drinks up the battery

so atm im using it with just normal bluetooth to receive my messages

gonna setup twitter and facebook, but i think they both need bluetooth tethering

i use beats bluetooth headphones on my phone, luckily i realised you can  have more than one bluetooth device connected to the phone

will see what the pebble is saying when its out

How is that different from Sony Ericsson's watch? I swear that one is only 30 quid aswell

SE only has touch sensitive sides or something. This is full touch screen. It has apps aswell, but have to be tethered to access the net which is crap

Ill wait for the pebble once it has an android app
