Banana cake was GGGGGORGEOUS lol at him not wanting it til he's got a cup of tea. That reason by itself is why I'll be with him forever. Love it.

Breadfruit.

Those who know what it is and how to cook it how do you do it.

Mum don't know how 2 cook it, she's born over here and don't cook typical jamaican food 2 often.

I Wanted some, keep seeing it on the market so i bought half and looked on nternet 4 recipe.

Found basic recipe.

I usually buy half.

i cut it in slices like its a melon.

Cut out the middle bit.

Boil it for 20 mins.

Now it's soft(er)

Then i ''season'' it in whatever. twice i've used Black ground pepper. Not the greyish dust looking one, but the larger particles black ones and also some mixed herbs..

Then i fry it.

Tastes nice.

Family ate it (with the rest of dinner that i cooked), including my 2 picky little sisters, who very sketical about eating different foods.

People are teeling me about roast breadfruit, i haven tried it this way.

I have seen mums partner roasting it one time with the breadfruit wrapped in foil.

Recently, i have been replacing potatoes with Cassava. Im not the biggest potato fan, and i go market and butchers quite regular now (i enjoy it, wish grandparents were still alive to get taugh) and i just buy random stuff. Stuff that i know if i was backa yard i would be eating.

not a big fan of breadfruit

my mum is similar, doesn't really experiment and barely eats at all herself so I can't even cook for her.

She don't eat pasta, pizza, and the only meat she eats is chicken.

Also the oven here is broken which makes me want to go back to uni cos I can only grill or fry or boil food.
