Guest Esquilax
Are man saying he killed his pitch? lmao cant be business minded if you think that you cant be having people f*ck around with your pees if your f*ck*ng around you dont get paid simples What? I'm not gonna wanna work for someone unreasonable like that, not many people are as is evident in this thread. I wouldn't want to risk wasting 2 weeks of my life working, then a tragedy strikes for 1 day that I have to take off and I subsequently do not get a penny for what I've done. Of course it kills it off.

Queen Bee
You must be pissed not being able to socialise etc as much now that you got a kid, it's the reason I'm holding off for at least 5 years. Sometimes i miss out on things that i really want to do, but im actually quite lucky as far as my social life is concerned, the majority of my close friends have kids so we are all in the same boat and i can take her to peoples houses without worrying coz the kids will all entertain eachother so i get a chance to have some 'me' time, and i get a night out once or twice a month which is enough for me these days as i did all my clubbing and stuff before i had her. You learn to work around having a child and still fit in a social life, but saying that i think im quite lucky to still be able to have the life i do because i know some girls who literally do nothing but stay at home with their kid all day. / @ Esquilax - Not really, sometimes its like having a second kid, at the moment i don't have to worry about or answer to anyone else but myself and my child, i wouldn't have space or time in my life for a proper boyfriend at the moment Also you should never rely on someone else to make your life easier, if you can't be content by yourself then you arent in a stage of your life where you should be even thinking about bringing someone else into it

Queen Bee
Charlie who looked after you whilst your mum was working. I looked after me and my little Sister. Before that when my Mum did waking nights my Grandma did. Thats the only way realistically it can be done these days, childcare is ridiculously expensive, and they only pay 80% of the weekly cost, but what they don't make clear is that its only 80% of 120 ( i think its still 120, was last time i checked anyway) but even the woman at the job centre told me you won't really find childcare at that price round here, so you are looking at so much money on childcare that its not even worth your while. I have family round here, but they all have their own responsibilities and wouldn't have time to help me out. / How nuts is Eskay gonna go when he realises another one of his topics has been bastardised lmao

Queen Bee
queen bee what open university course you gonna do? can't you work part-time or are you worried about losing your benefits? Doing a 12 week introduction course to councelling, then when ive done that im doing the foundation degree / I could work part time but im quite out of the way where i live, so i would probably spend more on travel than i would earn, and i wouldnt get help with childcare if i worked part time, and i dont have anyone who would be able to look after her for me while i work
Dubby
6 days x 10hrs a day = 60hrs over 2 weeks = 120hrs x 10quid per hour = £1200 Who wants to make 1200. VENOM
lol@ converting this thread to a benefit thread. / nothing wrong in claiming benefits but like queen bee says, the govt has made it too easy for everyone to legitimately claim benefits for life how u gona have some turkish woman who has contributed NOTHING to the economy be housed, given child benefits and all the other perks for as long as she wants. 12 years later this same woman STILL cant speak english, and is still having kids, there is no mandatory effort to make her learn english so she still officially is 'not ready for work' cos english is a barrier. yet the teal fact is that this woman DOES work within her own community. this applies to turkish, somalian, and east europeans, and the irish do this as well,
Flojo
lol at questioning peoples work ethic, anyone who cannot see this is a recipe for a dispute needs to question their common sense. Imagine paying for petrol for 13 days only to miss the14th with a genuine reason and finding yourself out of pocket. If he conducts his business like this for a decent amount of time I'm certain he will have problems.

Queen Bee
what people on benefits get 130 a week? is that ontop of free rent? so like 130 to spend a week? I get 64 every week and 100 every fortnight (its meant to be 130 but i get 30 deducted automatically to pay for my water bill) I pay 50 a month rent, they lowered the Local Housing Allowance at the end of last year and because my rent is so expensive (for what i have anyway) i have to make up the difference I get free prescriptions/eye tests/getting my uni course paid for, which is pretty good Its not that bad really but you do have to watch every pound you spend or you will f*ck yourself up, and you have to learn to economise or you won't manage
Guest M12 Part 2
tbh im with charlie. queenbee is exactly what is wrong with the UK. 1. no1 forced u 2 open ur legs to make the baby, so complaining about how u cant "maintain an average standard of life" is pie. 2. you say u have no money for childcare, im sure u have parents and all of these friends who also have babies can u not drop them round there 3. u say working u will be worse off than claiming benefits. This is the exact mentality scumbags have. firstly u have no pride. my parents would rather work for pittance and know they earned it than happily sit back and claim from state acting like its their "right". Refer to point 1 again. 4. open university course in Counselling when u spelled it councelling again is exactly whats wrong with UK. uni is becoming too accessible. from time u aint finished college and cant even spell ur course. u shouldnt be going. I could write for hours on whats annoyed me in ur posts over the last few pages but i'll leave it at that

No they didnt, but its not like i planned to be a single mother, sh*t happens and you deal with it, i worked hard from the age of 14 before i got pregnant, its not like i finished my GCSE's and got up the duff. 2. Why should i palm my child off on to someone else, its not their responsibility and anyway they have their own lives, why should i expect them to do what i should be doing, after all like you say 'no one forced me to open my legs' 3.Maybe your parents would rather work for a pittance, i would rather see that my child gets cloothed, fed, and has a warm house to live in. Its not because i want to go on shopping sprees every week, its because i wouldnt be able to pay my bills and have enough money for basic requirements if i was to work at this moment in time. 4.So what if i made a spelling mistake, its not the end of the world. How can you complain in one instance that im scrounging, then complain that im doing something to better myself and work towards having a career and not have to rely on benefits? Its cunts like you that are the problem in todays society, would love to see you spouting this sh*t from your high horse if you were in any similar situation.
