do you really need 4K to shot BMX vids though?

I hear that.

But its a massive break through in the industry imo.

A cam that shoots 4k for under 3bills?..

There is a massive jump in price between pro/consumer cams in the market.

The 4k feature was a big selling point for those pro cams.

The gap between pro cam and cosumer cam is really shortening.

Could see a major price drop in pro cams come this time next year.

4k aint no biggy if you are just puttin on youtube to be fair but 120fps 720p Is a big +... Di slowmos will be too epic.

LOL @ canon cams that still cant shoot 60p @ 1080p in 2012

yea i seen a big increase in ice hockey vids using this sh*t attached to helmets and sticks, i think a couple leagues even tested attaching it to referees for disciplinary reviews and sh*t like that.

couple clips in this cnn vid http://edition.cnn.com/video/?/video/sports/2012/10/17/pkg-thomas-nhl-players-to-uk.cnn

tell me suttum (not clued up)

with lenses, the lower the f stop the more light it lets in init?

does that automatically mean the lower the stop the better the lens?

or doesnt that matter if you have good lighting?

Images are usually sharper with lower fstop lens.

Higher f stop are usually softer.

But yeah with decent light Day light. It wouldn't matter much..

Lower f stop lens cost more P..
