TF S4DK Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 Karim Benzema's agent has denied reports the France international wants to leave Real Madrid this summer.Benzema, who after initially struggling to live up to his £31million price tag has netted 21 goals in his last 27 competitive appearances for Madrid, has been linked with a possible switch to Arsenal.It had been suggested that the 23-year-old Benzema, who could be competing against the fit-again Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo and possibly a new signing at Madrid next season, wants to leave the Bernabeu if he is not guaranteed more playing time.However, the player's agent Karim Djaziri told Spanish newspaper AS today: 'At no moment has Benzema thought about leaving Real Madrid.'He has not asked me to negotiate with any club. TF S4DK Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 Cesc Fabregas will not play for Arsenal again this season.The captain has missed the past three games with a thigh problem and suffered a setback ahead of Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.Fabregas’ injury is severe enough to rule him out of Arsenal's final Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage next week and Spain's friendlies against the United States and Venezuela in June."Fabregas is out for the season and for the international season as well," confirmed Arsène Wenger."He had a setback on his thigh and he will not play for us anymore this season and not for Spain because he is out for three or four weeks."Samir Nasri and Johan Djourou also missed Sunday's game and are major doubts for next week's trip to Craven Cottage. "Djourou has a little chance and Nasri has a very little chance," said Wenger."We will see how he [Nasri] progresses but he could be out as well for France [who face Belarus on June 3]. TF S4DK Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 I dont think we should sell Arshavin just yet, but tbh if I play on the left wing and I'm at Arsenal, and I can't play ahead of him atm, then I'll never make it at Arsenal.I think doubting Fabregas and Clichy injuries is silly, as both were scheduled on Friday to play Villa, but re-did their injuries.The Nasri situation is simple, we 90% have agreed the terms of his contract earlier in the year, now if his agent keeps stalling over the signing of it in the summer, then Arsenal/Gazidas will know what it is. Personally I think he will stay, but I dont want him moved into Cesc role tbh.I don't want Cesc sold and tbh I think Cesc's transfer only happens if Guardiola tells Rossell go make it happen and I don't care how much it costs...
