I hope he goes Inter or AC or even Bayern(staying@Porto would be the best solution)From winning trophies to nearly finishing 3rd.Forget Falcao aim for Benzema!

Either players would be quality signings IMO.Falcao would be the greater risk out of the two, not being proven in a top league - unlike Benzema who showed signs of class just when Mourinho needed it at Real. Having said that Falcao looks quality in the air and got sh*t loads of technical ability. Ball control reminds me of Nasri...sick tekkers. He's been a consistent goal scorer for Porto in both league and Europa League. Now it's up to Wenger.

Depends on what Benzema because there is two of them. The one who played from August 2009-October 2010 reminded me of AnelkaThe other one who played from November 2010-Feburary 2011 reminded me of R9Falcao always reminds me of Marcelo Salas

Thats the thing about Benzema - attitude and commitment can be questioned at times. I can see the Arsenal fans taking to him though, and with the French connection Wenger would probably get the best out of him. We been crying out for a striker like him since Henry left.Could be the striker that makes teams fear the Arsenal again, when we had Henry you know that teams were scared of our attacking/counter attacking force. Chamakh and Bendtner just ain't had that kinda influence. That said Chamakh deserves credit and I hope he has more opportunities next season. Not taking anything from RVP; but aside from his game to goal ratio,19 PL starts just ain't good enough.

That's why I want Arsenal to get Benzema(he deserves better he is more talented than any of Madrid's current forwards but Mourinho undervaules him)Benzema it is a mental thing he needs to be loved by his coach and I am sure Wenger would do that he loves Bendtner FFS.Number nine is currently vacant yeah?Benzema in a team who create chance after chance would get 30+25+ in 2010/11 was a sick return

Ray Parlour given number 9 - quick descent into alchoholism, drug abuse, sold to BoroAnelka given number 9, good season, got too big for his boots, didn't get a new contract, stopped caring, was sold to Madrid and went on to better thingsSuker - FlopFrancis Jeffers given number 9 - pmslReyes - Good player, got kicked about and wanted to return to Spain asapJulio Baptista - Lame, best thing he did was having the balls to take the penalty against Roma. Carling Cup nuh count.Eduardo - Vicious tackle left his leg snapped in twoLast consistent number 9 was Alan Smith back 2 decades ago. So yeah 'The Curse of the no.9 shirt' is at least half valid, especially if you think of it from the perspective of the pressure that comes with the shirt.

Arsenal & Tottenham have both made offers for £26m Porto striker Radamel Falcao - agentThe player’s representative has confirmed that the north London clubs have made bids for the Colombia international, who scored a record 17 Europa League goals The Colombian striker has enjoyed his most prolific season in European football, helping the club to the treble, and his agent has confirmed that the 25-year-old's performances have attracted attention from the two north London clubs.Claudio Mossio of Sivori and Asociados, the company that represents the striker, told Goal.com: "Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are the two clubs that are keen to sign him, and have already tabled an offer for Falcao."The striker, who has a buy-out clause of €30m (£26m), has also courted attention from clubs from Serie A, but due to a lack of EU passport, a move to Italy is unlikely to materialise at this stage.Mossio continued: "He is 25-years-old, but he still has plenty of room for improvement. The problem with a transfer to Italy is that he does not have a EU passport. He has a contract for two more years with Porto and has a buy-out clause of €30m."The club that matches that clause has a good chance of signing him. Porto want to open contract talks and offer him a new and improved deal to insert a higher minimum fee release clause."Mossio added that the chances of a move to Italy would increase if the Italian Football Federation were to allow its clubs to sign an extra player from outside the EU, but conceded that a move to Spain or England is more likely. He said: "The chances of a move to Italy increase if that would happen. However, the Spanish and English clubs are sitting in pole position. Inter already have [Giampaolo] Pazzini as striker, while Juventus have [Alessandro] Matri. He would be a good addition to Roma."Falcao struck a record 17 goals in the Europa League in 2010-11 as Porto enjoyed a memorable campaign under the tutelage of coach Andre Villas-Boas.Since joining the club from River Plate in the summer of 2009, the striker has won the Portuguese league title, two Portuguese cups, two Supercups and the Europa League.Speaking exclusively to Goal.com last year, Falcao's father, Radamel Garcia, confirmed that his son is interested in playing in England and has already started to learn the language.“All his life he has wanted to play in English football," he said. “A footballer always wants to go to the best team. It depends on the possibilities. He will listen to the best offer and see what suits him best."He also finds the Italian and Spanish leagues attractive. It depends on the club. But he hopes it’s in English football."He added: "He speaks some English. He’s been learning it for five or six years."In Portugal he has English classes every afternoon. He’s preparing for the possibility of going to England. “He watches English football on TV a lot. He watches all the matches. He likes Wayne Rooney a lot and liked Thierry Henry when he was there.

Benzema: I do not think Real Madrid want to sell me Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema believes he will still be at the Bernabeu next season. The 23-year-old has not had the easiest of seasons under coach Jose Mourinho, who has been less than impressed with the forward at times.Benzema improved as the campaign progressed and gained more playing time, but that has not stopped him being linked with a move away, with Arsenal and Juventus reportedly among his suitors. But he told Marca: "I do not think Real Madrid want to sell. Mourinho is confident in me."Next season you will see the best from Benzema."Benzema also backed the idea of Sergio Aguero making the move from rivals Atletico to the Bernabeu. The 22-year-old this week confirmed his desire to leave Atleti, with their cross-city rivals seen by many as the most likely destination."Aguero has the quality to play for Madrid," said Benzema.
