Better he plays for England, losing a player to the African nations and then potential injuries they get there isn't worth it
Besides he can *theoretically* become a better player playing for England and form a good relationship with Wilshrere *theoretically*
How would he become a better player playing with England, shut up.
And he already plays with Wilshere for Arsenal, so he has a chance to form a good relationship with Wilshere in club football.
He should play for Ghana, they have an exciting young team with players like Boateng, Annan Asamoah, and he already promised that he would play for the nation that birthed him, also there is a chance he may not even become a fixture in the England side while he probably would in the Ghana side.
All this talk about the club stop him playing for Ghana shouldn't bother him, if Wenger tells him not to play for Ghana tell him to got to hell, it never stopped Drogbba and Eto;o making it to the top of the game and it shouldn't stop Frimpong from doing so as well, he should take pride in playing for his parents country, i want to see an African team lift the world cup/

Ghana requested Emmanuel Frimpong for the friendly (before it was cancelled), Arsenal rejected the request.
Wenger doesn't wanna lose another player to African Nations.

He is eligible. No point him playing u21's when he's played in Champs League though I guess, and he'll have gone to a senior tournament by the time the next u21 tournament comes around.

Idont think he'll be allowed to. English clubs really don't like the idea of their players flying round the world for friendlies and the aff nations cup taking place in season. He will be strongly discouraged or wen threatened about playing for Ghana. Not to mention choosing Ghana over Emgland will limit your commercial appeal here.

I'm sure I read the African nations is gonna be on consecutive years for 2012 and 2013, so it doesn't clash with World Cup year anymore.
Can't find anything on google though. Must be bollocks.
