after reading this thread, and a few otherr forums, its even more laughable how footballs fans see apparent bias,i've seen Liverpool fans on here and elsewhere tralking about how the commentry was biad towards United, and United fans bemoaning Beglins obvious favouritsm to Liverpool, is this a practical joke that i'm not in on sort somthing, "anti LFC bilge phlegmed out by beglin and that other fool commentating"Written by a Liverpool fan on the echo website.ohh yes and also Fergie needs to have a word with "his" media and commentators for not going in at the fan who had the camera on his inbred face for about five seconds while making aeroplane gestures and chanting Munich, See nobody like us, the world is against us, bet Danny Kelly puts that guy forward for a knighthood on his show tommorrow

Swear City fans are trying to copy that Lech Poznan arm lock jump ting..
yeah they do it while chanting, "lets all do the Poznan"LOL
Lol at people saying Gerrards tackle was two footed, do people not have eyes.
trust me.dont watch the manc supporters on here they think they know it all most of them are from london and never even been to old trafford before
Got to agree it wasn't two footed, that just seems to be a phrase that gets banded about when people see a bad tackle, but to argue it wasn't a red is a little silly. it was reckless, he left the ground didnt get any of the ball and caught the man, its a red lads, the Penalty was undoubtedly not a pen, however as Fergies "fan club" said Agger was silly for catching Berbatov like that, rush of blood but unlucky,as for being outplayed, hmmmmand in regards to all the London based United fans on here, how do they differentiate from the London based Liverpool fans on here?
Good post, the difference is London United supporters are glory hunters, thats the difference.

Unnh?To be honest when they showed the fan i didn't even know what he was saying, commentators probably didn't as well. As for Beglin i didn't see any bias for him on either side, he had opinions on the controversial decisions as is to be expected. But United fans really have the nerve to complain about any bias in any form when the whole of the British media look at Ferguson as some type of God. For some of you to complain really show how delusional some of your fans are, when sh*t isn't biased in your favour you misinterpret as it being against you, because your so used to every member of the British media licking your ass you expect everything to go your way.Howard Webb should not be in charge of any big United game in the near future, especially at Old Trafford, saying that he is still bettter than that c*nt Mike Riley.

Howard-Webb---Twitter-007.jpgRyan Babel is facing the possibility of disciplinary action from the Football Association after responding to Liverpool's 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford by posting a mocked-up photo on his Twitter site of the referee Howard Webb wearing a Manchester United shirt.Webb had incensed Liverpool by awarding a first-minute penalty when Dimitar Berbatov went to ground after a slight touch from Daniel Agger and then sending off Steven Gerrard for a dangerous challenge on Michael Carrick.Kenny Dalglish, returning as Liverpool manager, called the penalty "a joke" and Babel posted the picture of Webb with the message: "And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH.""SMH" is the abbreviation for "shaking my head" and Babel's attack will almost certainly lead to the FA intervening on the basis that he is alleging bias on the part of the man who refereed the World Cup final and was made an MBE in the Queen's New Year honours list. An FA spokesman has confirmed they are aware of the incident and are looking into it.Babel later tweeted: "Sorry Howard Webb. My apology if they take my posted pic seriously. This is just an emotional reaction after losing an important game."Dalglish's son, Paul, also vented his feelings on Twitter, posting a mocked-up picture of Sir Alex Ferguson with his arm around Webb, again in a United shirt.Dalglish junior wrote: "Howard Webb MBE. Manc of the Busby Era. I am not normally bitter, as you know, but it is different rules against them." In a separate tweet he added: "Fergie has his puppet Howard Webb on a piece of string."http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jan/09/ryan-babel-howard-webb-manchester-united-liverpool

tbh my post was tounge in cheek, about how the average football fan always think they're being wronged, and the people they're up against are being favoured. the commentators went deadly silent while the fan was on the screen and then for a few seconds afterwards in a way that kind of makes me think they knew what was going on, and Its like groundhog day again, Fergie is seen as a god by the media because in the last 20 odd years, what he has achieved has been astonishing and unparralled, but as we've seen they have no qualms in getting onto him and those round him for non footballing issues, see his dispute with the BBC, and they would love to do the same on footballing issues, but it isn't poissible due to his track record

Whether he's lunging at the side of him or straight into him is irrelevant as its still a lunge. Gerrard knows what he's doing. He tried to disguise it by initially leading with his right leg, but as you can see, just before the point of impact he brings left leg through to catch Carrick with both feet. Pause the vid at 1:15 which shows it nice and clear.Rafael's challenge more dangerous? :D
off course Rafael's was more dangerous, He was wearing a United shirt and the guy who lost out in the challenge was wearing a Liverpool one. Rafael shouldve got the red, and if that had happened Gerrad wouldnt of been in a postion where he wouldve had to tackle carrick, United wouldve been down to 10 men, Liverpool wouldve gone on to win the game and ultimately the FA Cup and made a amazing comeback in the league to claim a CL place on the last day of the season, which they wouldve gone on to win the following season, and King Kenny wouldve finally been given the knighthood that is long overdue.

Nicklas Bendtner moved at top speed, lost his marker and showed the crowd a clean pair of heels.Sadly, it was 10 minutes after the final whistle before Bendtner showed any real urgency as he looked to make a quick get-away from the Emirates.Bendtner had changed quickly into a tracksuit, packed his kit bag, put on a cap and dashed out of the press entrance through a sea of fans to a waiting car. That just about summed up Bendtner’s afternoon. Pretty hopeless on the pitch, received stick from the fans and could not get away quick enough.Perhaps someone ought to remind him of his priorities and that he would have nothing without football.Bendtner, 22, is a young man in a hurry. He has admitted he is fed up being on the bench, deserves to be starting when fully fit and wants to leave unless he gets more games. But whenever Bendtner does get his chance he rarely puts in a performance to justify one of the biggest egos in football. It was a similar story for Andrey Arshavin, whose lacklustre performance showed perhaps even less commitment than Bendtner. No wonder the Arsenal fans got on the backs of a few of the team because, while Arsene Wenger is now blessed with a big squad, it would appear that two of them are not happy just to be squad players.Arshavin, never renowned for his tracking back, is going through a bad spell. His work-rate is at an all-time low and he is not showing enough determination let alone quality. It’s a similar story for Bendtner.Wenger is therefore left with two of his forwards – both of whom see themselves as world class – not digging in enough for the team and, if Bendtner is anything to go by, they seem in a rush to get away.Wenger said: “The longer it didn’t go for them (Bendtner and Arshavin), the more the lack of confidence kicks in. But even when you’re a regular it affects you as a striker.”

The Queens Park Rangers players united after the game in condemning El Hadji Diouf for apparently taunting Jamie Mackie after the winger sustained a broken leg in this third-round tie. Mackie, whose season has come to a premature conclusion because of a broken tibia and fibula, claimed on his Twitter site: "Proper disappointed that El Hadji Diouf was in my ear while am on the deck with a broken leg saying 'f*ck you and f*ck your leg.'"Mackie's team-mate Bradley Orr retorted: "Never come across a more repulsive human being than Diouf! The things he was saying were disgusting! The lad has just broke his leg! You horrible disgusting man Diouf! Your time will come!"
