Really detailed description of CoD Elitehttp://uk.kotaku.com/5806775/how-call-of-duty-elite-works-and-why-you-might-be-paying-for-it
You get that stuff for free in other games  /I hope EA make a BF PRO and release it for free

EA and free

Of course there are things we will not be showing at E3, including the game's extensive co-op campaign, the introduction of Team Death Match mode and the Battlefield 3 Battlelog web destination - featuring powerful social tools, feeds and detailed player stats. Battlelog also lets you manage your friends lists, squad up, create platoons, use voice chat and follow your friends' progress in real-time, and more. Battlelog will be available for the monthly fee of (drum roll)... zero dollars. We look forward to providing more information on these features in the near future!

I knew it was too much of an oppertunity not to do it.

That video was so f*ck*ng annoying.

So all you get is just bullshit stats, that no one cares about. Wish they removed everything but win/loss in the next installment. The only interesting aspect is the league system, but if you're into that, you can just sign up to GB and play for free.

Taken from some website, what you will get for free with COD Elite..

Since being announced earlier this week, there has continued to be some confusion (and outcry) over Call of Duty Elite. It's unclear what elements of the service you'll be paying for -- Activision isn't providing those details because much of it is tied into parts of Modern Warfare 3 it isn't ready to talk about -- but to help clear things up a bit, an FAQ has made its way onto the Web that explains how parts of it work, why it was announced now, and what will be free.

It's frequently reiterated in the FAQ that nothing you've come to expect from a Call of Duty title is being removed. That includes multiplayer: playing online is still free, and as the FAQ puts it (in bold, underlined text, no less), "Even haters can play for free."

Everyone, Elite subscriber or not, will be able to purchase downloadable content just as you've been able to in previous games. If you do opt to pay the as-of-yet unannounced monthly fee, you'll get all of the "playable game DLC" for Modern Warfare 3 free of charge. That includes any map packs, though it's unclear if the way that's phrased -- "playable game DLC" -- means there might be some sort of non-playable DLC that even Elite subscribers will have to pay for, or if it's simply a strangely-worded statement. (It could simply mean things like avatars and themes for PSN and Xbox Live.) Another feature already announced for subscribers is a Call of Duty-themed web series.

Elite in and of itself will be a free service. Some people have claimed it's nothing special, saying that Bungie has been offering much of the same functionality for the Halo series with Bungie.net for years. Activision says Elite will be the "best free service on the market" because it offers "more features than any other service out there. Additionally, many of Elite's free features which will debut with Modern Warfare 3 are industry firsts and offer a new level of innovation."

Below is the list of features listed as being free to all users. More questions are answered in the FAQ (PDF). You can sign up for the Elite beta, which will take place this summer using Black Ops, here.

•Access Elite through the web as well as Elite's free custom iOS and Android applications for smartphones and tablets

•Communicate any way you want across mobile, console and the web with your friends

•Track and share thousands of stats with friends -- k/d ratios, score-per-minute, win % and loads more, all represented in easy to understand charts and infographics

•Create your own custom leaderboards to track friendly rivalries -- who is moving up and down in your group of friends?

•Analyze advanced heat maps detailing your match-by-match performance -- where you killed or got killed, when it happened, and more

•Analyze your weapons performance -- which weapons you are best with in which situations

•Upload and share videos of your greatest moments through our exclusive theater mode with the touch of a button

•After you analyze your performance to your heart's content - Customize your loadout -- search through all the weapons, attachments and perks, and push them directly into the game menu from the web or your mobile device with the touch of a button

•Join dozens of groups and find other players with common interests to play with and compete against -- find people who make the game the most fun for you -- TDM, Lakers' fans, Weekend Warriors, whatever you choose.

•Create a private Clan with players who share your interests and skill level

•Bring your Facebook friends right into the game, easily taking your existing network into the Call of Duty experience.

•Seamlessly be placed into matches into Groups who share your affinities and interests based on your Facebook profile to elevate your in-game experience.

•Start tracking your Call of Duty career -- everything you wanted to know about your performance across the franchise starting with Black Ops

Activision today confirmed the beta for its Call of Duty: Elite online service begins next month.

The publisher said the beta will be an "invitation-only public beta" that will start on July 14, 2011. The service will only be accessible by Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer players initially. Full capabilities for Elite will not be available until Modern Warfare 3 launches later this year.

Since its announcement earlier this month, the beta has already surpassed over 1 million registrants.

Don't know if this is old or new, but I just seen.

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2011-call-of/714783

13 mins. of MW3 through New York.

I mean for me... that was so very underwhelming, was skipping it more time.

Only thing that looks interesting is the ACOG / red dot interchanging, could be seen on like Warlord perk, but even still, I rarely use that so :\
