Mortgages usually have something like a 20% deposit. That means the owners probably paid at least $60,000 towards the house. They don't get that back unless the house is sold for how much they bought it for. So they have this $60k stake in the house and a guy is living in it for free - I don't think that's right.

It wasn't just black people who were given bad mortgages and most of the world suffered the consequences of those mortgages. Just because there may be some racial motivation behind the neighbours and their actions doesn't mean that the only reasons he shouldn't be allowed to live there are racist ones.

Like kudos to man finding a loop in the system and everything, but there should be a law that says someone who owns more of a place should be able to claim residence over someone who has less ownership.

the contract says you must leave the house so the bank can sell it
