Skenghis Khan
It was probably prohibition/ the government that killed her, taking a dodgy pill or sniffing some %5 pure coke instead of having these readily available in pure form like it should be in a sane world. lets not be silly please. Im Broke
Getting tired of this pathetic 'yeah this white is OK but there's a million untapped black people being shunned by 'the man'' attitude Like I said, I wouldn't put Amy into this equation as to me she was a highly credible artist, but some of the artists she opened the door for, this would have to apply. I agree, but I think it's directed towards the wrong people sometimes, like in this case No one said she wasn't a great talent, she may be overhyped for obvious reasons but she deserves some plaudits. Benicio del Toney
smh / cant stand all u idiots saying she had a hard life etc what about the millions of people in 3rd word countries who aint got sh*t all there is no excuses for taking drugs 1st of she woulda held a firm beat when she did land on the scene, I think she was missing a black man still, she woulda got addicted to the doggy instead. 2nd "drugs" have existed for thousands of years, it isn't "wrong" to do drugs in the way you mean, it isn't particularly productive to society but the Incas used to get rat arsed certain times and still had a successful society so I guess the term in moderation is key here. I don't do drugs, never have, I see drug dealers as vermin of society but I guess the real problem is how freely available certain drugs are. Skenghis Khan
rip / Lol at thinking people in the third world don't take drugs You never heard of jenkem? heard it some strong sh*t. / beavis leave it out mate, there are many strong arguments for the legalization of drugs, the decline of amy whinehouse is not one of them. bottomline is extreme addiction leads to wretchedness and waste, and crack and heroin are extremely addictive. MARVELL
Anyone making light of this obviously doesn't know sh*t about how really talented she was, and what a drastic loss for music it is Her songwriting and vocal and lyrics were exceptional, it's really really sad Thought it would just be a druggy chapter in her biography, unfortunately not who were you before? the recurring c*nt theme is apparent you're not a new c*nt on the block. she was talented, theres lots of others as talented. she wasnt anythign super special in my opinon real talent as an artist is to be able to re deliver that talent to the fans who made you famous in the first place in spite of personal sh*t . theres tonnes of singers who did drugs and drink, but were able to get the hell up and churnout an amazing performance each time they got on stage, and keep on for a relatively good time. bar one or two silly appearances perhaps at an awards show or concert. AMY was consistently failing her fans..that is not super talent, get over yourself. she recorded two albums, about 10m sold to date. ok its like the capital FM c*nt who was literally worshipping her on the radio while breaking the news... kept saying she was the record holder for grammys for a female....a blatant omission of facts jus cos someone's died? now we're being told she was some Queen. getoutta here.
