If this aint social apartheid I really dont know what isNow we have a situation where if two different people commit exactly the same crime one of them will be punished more severely than the other based on their socio economic status
Its not even the same crime, my man thats stealing a bottle of water is getting half a year, compared to the rich girl who steals 5,000 pounds worth of electronic goods.

our banks continue to rape us in this process which is the actual reason why we are in this situation. Today david cameron showed interest in the l.a riotss cheif to let in charge of police. f*ck a brit. briing an american in. We are such a failed society. The only way forward is to stop paying tv licesnce to the bbc who do not expose these bankers for raping our country.let them arrest 1000 bankers like the 1980's againlets lose our sovereignty like ireland will do soon so we can worship a world bank

It's not even about economic status. There are three variables to this, imagine three fundementals The offenderThe crime sceneThe victimIn any normal circumstance you'd probably scale each fundemental on level 2 order of disciplinary action. What we have here is the courts have took the middle fundement out "the crime scene" and have scaled that level up to level 4 which offsets the length of sentances even accounting for the same criminal action. For examle pre riots;Man breaks into Shop and steals jewellery Offender (Man) 2Offence (Robbery) 2Scence (Shop) 2Victim (Anyone in the shop at moment of robbery) 2if you had 2 points for each fundemental and times them together ie 2x2x2x2 = 16Now in the case of the riotsMan breaks into Shop and steals jewellery Offender (Man) 2Offence (Robbery) 2Scence (Shop) 5Victim (Anyone in the shop at moment of robbery) 5The man is the same, and so is his offence. The crime scene has been put as a state of emergency on a broad scale across LondonThe victim is the same although the crime scene is more volatile due to the nature of a widespread alert where anyone and everyone is vulnerable, there is no order, everyone is in a state of panic or unbriddled lawlessness.2x2x5x5 = 10016 compared to 100?that's a big difference even though you guys see the crime as the same. That could of been the difference, in fact that is the difference from 16 weeks to 100 weeks in prison.

He's talking about two people committing the same crime during the riots getting different sentences.

The suspected gangster shot dead by police was the nephew of a notorious gangland criminal, it has been revealed.Mark Duggan's uncle was Desmond 'Dessie' Noonan whose family used to run Manchester's underworld and featured in a 2005 documentary.Dessie Noonan, a former bouncer, ran a gang with his brothers Domenyk, Damian and Derek. He and Domenyk both featured in Donal MacIntyre's TV programme six years ago.In it, he boasted how his family was 'untouchable', saying: 'I've got a bigger army than the police. We have more guns than the police.'Dessie's second wife Julie is the sister of Mr Duggan's mother Pamela, according to (The Sun) :D . Mr Duggan used to visit their home regularly to babysit, according to the paper. The couple divorced in 1993 after Dessie was acquitted of the murder of fellow gangster Anthony Johnson but Mr Duggan reportedly still visited him and his brother Domenyk.Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2025259/London-riots-Mark-Duggans-uncle-Desmond-Dessie-Noonan-crime-lord.html#ixzz1UpXGYFFd
