depends where you work and if you have a career or a job

I generally like the people I work with and we have similar interests (otherwise we wouldn't be doing what we do I guess) so for me it's a good thing that we can get along socially as well as professionally - it makes work a lot more bearable and I generally believe it makes you work harder/better if you like working with the people you do.

my last job i had when i was on tag everyone was bitching about each other but i met one guy who was proper safe would drive me to and from work coz he only lived down the road from me, he just got divorced, kids etc but only early 30s and i can easily socialise with olders so we go on, told him i was on tag bout my case n everything down the pub, added to fb, even though we both work at diff places now we stil talk and go pub and i know bare of his friends now, cool guys

but generally i am keep myself to myself mode at work, unless i meet someone on the level, im not against being social with work heads but you have to choose wisely, when it comes to girls, it's sex only and let them know because of the complications stated above

I will socialise till the sun rises, but i'll be damned if they ever know a thing about me.

They will jump at the opportuniy to use it for my demise.

Snap.

Agree I know people talk about me behind my back coz u know when u walk in a room and it goes silence but people stare MEH

Who was that black bird on here who parred the guy who drove her to work every morning and she got vex when he drove off because she was taking ages. She was sexy and had a bun in the oven? Anyone minds gone blank

at the end of the day, if you work full time you spend more time with ppl at work than you do with your friends and family

with that being said, you might as well make be friendly but

be smart with it

the best advice i was given tho - 'these people arent your friends'. its true. be careful who you trust

some people will snake you, but others might be cool. one guy who i used to work with young guy always out partying gave me some good advice when i was hurt over my ex. we became friends and still stay in touch via facebook and email. went out for his birthday met all his friends cool bunch. he had a house party went to that too

cool with some work people, im going to a bbq at a hoouse of a colleague who just moved to a new house

was invited to a party for a senior manager 2 weeks ago.

all dpeends on where u work. i can imagine some places would never want to do anything with anyone from work

i will still say there thee is something wrong with YOU if youve been at your work for over at least 2 yrs and dont bond with at least ONE person from work to do something with socially outside of the work envt.

white people dont bite ya na...

couple of the guys i drink with regularly, and i know i can rely on them, its mostly the older guys 40's-50's,

in an ideal the whole team would be really tight, but tbh i just cannot relate to some of them.

theres this sexy f*ck*ng chubster at head office, if i was a free agent i would f*ck her violently. shes not a sloppy chubster but firm and sturdy like oxen, it wud be so easy as well.

alas she must remain locked in the wank bank.

I will attend major work parties (xmas etc) but other than that then I will not attend.

Had a work party last week (free drinks so who couldnt), got off early to meet my mates then the next day everybody seemed offended by what I had done.

random erections at work. so annoying trying to tell female staff "I can't come out from behind the till right now in case anyone comes to pay" and them not understandin why.

the quote from The Wire where someone told McNulty "if they ask You where You do/don't wana go ( department wise ) don't say anything" serves me well, and seen people fall foul of this on many occasion

got 1 yute that I discreetly judge female customers with ( mainly through body language/gestures/after they've gone ), gives me joke, I won't lie. there was this 1 ting with a bright lime green bra under her white shirt, must have been asking to be watched, had to hold the laughter in.

remember 1 yute tried to slyly ask "have You ever stolen anything from work?" within the premises. no idea if it was genuine or a reason to snitch, but me and him became less kool because of this. he said no himself, which made it suspect

1 next bad atmosphere when a couple that both worked there broke up

glad I waited till after I left to move to 1 girl from a previous job - she didn't have it, and the rumours would have been a lot if this happened while I was there
