Guess I am lucky, very rarely I get a lag connection at anytime of the day. Only lags if if I am doing background downloads or streaming via laptop.

The new dash and most of the new apps are fully voice acitvated apart from the search feature.

Yep Netflix plus voice activation is excellent. Don't even have to lift a finger when an episode finishes.
