Furthermore in 06/07 under Capello

He hardly played nor did Beckham(because of the agreed LA Galaxy deal which Capello went mad) and Ronaldo(because he refused to run in training)

I remember the first Clasico of that season(was there)

Binho had his best game for Real but still went back as a sub

Then we were horrible in the 2nd half of 06/07

Capello had to bite his tongue and make Beckham and Binho starters again

If you remember Reyes actually won Real the title that night because our head to head was superior against Barca

They hit Gimanstic for six and we beat Mallorca 3-1

Capello got sacked

Then Schuster took over

Robinho fresh from running riot in the Copa America brought that form into 07/08 and him/RVN/Sneijder(what an 8) started destroying teams in La Liga and UCL(group stages)

Binho got injured in the second half of 07-08 and never fully recovered his form(actually finished 10th in the Ballon D'or list)

That's when Higuain came into his own

Binho asked for a pay rise (which we should of given him from when he came back from Copa America)

He was on 25k a week and wanted 70k but Calderon started longing things out and even offered Robinho to Man Utd as part of the bid for Cristiano Ronaldo

Which made Robinho angry and used it against the club

So come Summer Transfer window 2008(deadline day)

City gave Real a blank cheque for RVN and got told where to go

Then they came back offered £15M for Robinho it got turned down

He started crying for the club to let him go and threatened to retire from football aged 24 if we never let him join City

Then City came back with £32M

He went from 25k to 160k a week

The rest is history

Good riddance to bad rubbish

Chatting sh*t for what?

Makelele was on 20k a week and asked for a pay rise so he can earn 50k a week

But Florentino Perez said no way he is paying that much for a guy who cannot pass further than twenty yards SMH

Chelsea's gain was our loss (He went from 20k to 70k)

Perez only paid the galaticos well(Carlos,Beckham,Figo,Zidane,Raul,Ronaldo) with the last four were tax free

Nothing to do with Wagner Ribeiro being a rubbish agent it was simply club policy

Come to think it Perez couldn't do that now he wouldn't get away with it with the Beckham Law gone

For example when Sergio Ramos was signed he was only on 20k

Makelele played for real madrid them times when 20k was probably a lot of money. I refuse to believe Robinho was at real madrid between 05 and 08 on 20k a week. If he was whoever was looking after him needs to be shot. Man was one of the best ballers in the world getting paid 20k a week in 08

20k for someone of Mak's quality was low

Everyone was paid 15-35k a week

While the galaticos were getting 70k-90k tax free

You have to remember Robinho was 21 straight from South America when he joined to replace Figo in 05

So his first contract in Europe was 25k on a five year deal

Calderon f*cked up for not giving Robinho a pay rise after Copa America

You need to understand this is Real

Agents are not bullying Real into giving their clients a pay rise unless they are a galatico

Despite being billed as the galatico signing of 2005

Robinho wasn't regarded as one of the best in the world hence the low basic wage of 25k

Like i said if this is true (which neither of us can prove either way) then his agents are monkeys. They arent acting in his best interests getting him a move on 25k a week. He couldve gone to any club in wurope and been on that, How can they openly call a guy a galactico and give him JD Sports money.

neymar has no reason to come to europe tbh. unless he wants to bang white girls maybe.

If he joins real madrid or barca no will rate him as a great because messi and c ronaldo are already carrying them. The only way he will get any ratings is if he goes to a new club and drags them up to real/barcas level, but i dont think hes got the temperament for that.

He needs to come Europe around 2014 or even next summer

He is too good for South America way too good

He will take the easy option and go for Barca

But in an ideal world I would prefer PSG not to have won the Champions League by the time Neymar says enough is enough and wants Europe so he can join PSG

Brazilian Bishops 'severely outraged' with image of Neymar as Jesus Christ

info_1348912057.jpg

The image is a metaphor to highlight criticism of the Santos star - Placar

The Brazilian National Bishops Confederation (CNBB) has criticised a Brazilian sports magazine for publishing a photograph of Neymar being crucified in the same way as Jesus Christ.

Placar, which has become one of the most successful sports publications in Brazil, were using the picture as a metaphor to highlight the criticism the Santos star had been coming under for supposedly diving too often.

The Placar cover, which reads "the Brazilian ace turns scapegoat in a sport where everyone plays dirty", was inspired by a 1970s issue of Spanish magazine Don Balon, which depicted Johan Cruyff in almost exactly the same way.

In a letter, signed by CNBB president Cardinal Raymundo Damasceno Assis and general secretary Dom Leonardo Ulrich Steiner, the publication has been criticised for "showing disdain towards people's feelings".

A statement read: "The Brazilian National Bishops Confederation states that it feels severely outraged with the [photo] montage that is the cover of a sports magazine, where the image of Jesus Christ is seen with the face of a football player.

"We acknowledge freedom of speech as a fundamental principle of our state and [see it as necessary for] democratic co-existence, however, there are known limits for such.

"To ridiculise faith and show disdain towards peoples' religious feelings by using the disrespectful use of the image of Jesus suggests manipulation and use of editorial resources as a means for commercial ends.

"This is a clear lack of respect that offends the most sacred image for Christians and updates, in a hazardous manner, the well-known resource of gaining attention by provocation."

An online petition has now been launched against Placar's use of the image of Neymar as Jesus Christ, which has gained over 7,000 signatures since its manifestation.

What's the point if goes Barca or Real because when he takes the piss we will hear things like

"He is playing with Messi y Iniesta that's why" or he is playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

PSG would be ideal for him especially helping them challenge for UCL

Any other team outside them three would be pointless for Neymar

It won't because

118/200-Club level

25/16-International

Stats/performances/trophies do wonders

The fact Pato was an athlete e Neymar is a footballer

Can you shut the f*ck up with your footballer athlete nonsense. Neymar maybe more talented buy you can't label Pato as just an athlete

Neymar needs to prove himself in Europe
