no one gives a f*ck about your dad

Was tongue in cheek but true. Moral of the story, don't make sh*t assumptions.

You're any wasteman though, so I'm gonna ignore you forthwith.

This isnt a MY DAD measuring contest. Moral of the story is no one gives a f*ck about your dad as that wasnt what the thread was about. so both of you can suck out

ok, more related to a work suit than for an occasion, but didn't want to make a new thread.

got a new job, wearing a suit is required. this will be the first time i've worn a suit to work.

at the risk of sounding like an idiot, do You buy 1 and keep wearing it, dryclean on weekend, or do You buy 5 of those highstreet store suits and wear 1 every day?

Reiss, m&a, Austin Reed etc. trousers are easy to buy as separates. Can get a decent pair for about 40-50 and your always likely to find somewhere in sale.

You can't get a decent pair of trousers for 50. For a decent pair (100% wool) you'd be starting off around the 70 mark and even they wouldnt be great quality

Do you really need to wear a complete suit every day? Most places you can get away with just shirt and trousers. Bare in mind a decent quality suit is gonna cost over 2 bills

You can, i dont think i've ever paid more than £60 for a pair of trousers when I've bought separates and I only buy wool, mohair or worst case wool blend

if you think £40 is too much for trousers, your suit must be dead

My suit was about £110 reduced from £180 at M&S I just want some plain work trousers with a decent fit.

These days my money is divided up between ISA which is to save for masters and current account which is transport and various living costs, its so peak that I don't even claim a hair-cut as a living cost anymore I charge it out of my Savings account

There's outlet stores and sales all over the place, being honest though you aren't going to find anything full price that's going to be decent, other alternative is just get any trousers and get them tailored at dry cleaners. You'll probably be able to get a better fit than most stuff off the rack.

M&S do nice fitting stuff for good money, a lot of Saville Row Tailors actually recommend Marks for off the hanger suits.

No lie though when I had a uni presentation 1 time I went Primark spent about 70 for shirt, tie, trousers and high collar jacket, looked the f*ck*ng nuts and thats what the hoes were saying.
